Warnings

Keep packaging parts away from children. The battery contains acid and can be life-threatening if swallowed. In case of contact with battery acid, rinse the affected area with clean water and consult a doctor immediately. Keep the product away from moisture, wetness, and extreme heat. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids. Technical specifications are subject to change without notice. Never fully discharge the battery, as this will shorten its useful life. Clean the wristband regularly with warm water and soapy water to prevent discoloration. If the battery needs to be stored, store it with 30% charge capacity, protected from direct sunlight, at an ideal temperature of 10-20°C. Keep the product away from small children.

Safety Instructions

Conversion or modification of the product will affect product safety. All modifications and repairs must be carried out exclusively by the manufacturer or authorized persons. Do not open the product or attempt repairs yourself. Handle the device with care to avoid damage from shocks, impacts, or falls. Never heat the battery above 60°C, drop it, or throw it into a fire due to the risk of explosion/fire. Do not short-circuit the battery terminals or subject the battery to mechanical stress. Ensure the battery is not dropped, impacted, bent, twisted, or disassembled. If the battery overheats, interrupt charging immediately. A defective battery that overheats or deforms during charging should not be used.

Caution: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Do not attempt to remove the non-user-replaceable battery. Contact customer support for battery issues.

SIM Card Specification

Ensure the contract/prepaid card supports IP cameras and allows connection to the mobile network. Some network operators may exclude devices like IP cameras from using the mobile network via IMEI fencing.

Prepare and Install SIM Card

Important: Remove the PIN code from the SIM card before use. If forgotten, it can be entered via the clock, but must be re-entered each time the clock restarts.

The 4G Kids Watch is compatible with nano-SIM cards from major European mobile providers. A minimum of 500MB data allowance per month is recommended for proper operation.

Installation Steps:

1. With the nano SIM card's gold contacts facing up, place the card into the SIM holder tray.
2. Ensure the tray is facing up so the card does not fall out.
3. Steadily slide the tray all the way into the slot.

SIM Card Types: Mini SIM ❌, Micro SIM ❌, Nano SIM ✔️

Function of the Buttons

• SOS Button ?: Press and hold for 5 seconds to initiate SOS.
• Power / Return Button: Press and hold for 4 seconds to turn the watch on or off. Note: The watch can only be turned off if the SIM card is not inserted or recognized; otherwise, it restarts. A short press returns to the previous screen.

Charging

This device has a rechargeable battery and must be fully charged before first use. Charge the battery every 2-3 months if the device is not used.

1. Use only the Technaxx authorized magnetic charging cable.
2. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the watch.
3. Charge for more than 15 minutes from a complete power-off state before use. Use an output voltage of 5V and current above 500mA.

Download and Activate 4G LocaFind App

The 4G LocaFind app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Search for "4G LocaFind".

Activation Procedure:

1. Ensure the SIM card is active with sufficient voice and data allowance.
2. Charge the watch if necessary.
3. Open the 4G LocaFind App and register if it's your first time.
4. Go to "Me", press the robot icon, and add your mobile number.
5. Scan the watch's QR code (found in Settings > Tracker ID) with the app.
6. Choose your relationship with the child.
7. Provide your child's profile information and the watch's phone number (Mobile No. of Tracker).
8. Once connected, the watch may take a few minutes to fully synchronize with the app.

Note: Service performance may vary by mobile network coverage.

4G Kids-Watch Menu

The touch display is used to navigate the menu. To exit a function or setting, press the touch button (3) or power/return button (5).

Swipe down from the top of the display to see cellular network signal strength and battery level. This area also provides quick access to volume, settings, screen brightness, fitness, and the cleaning tool.

Watch Features

• Chat ?

  A group chat where users with access via the 4G LocaFind app can communicate using voice messages and photos. Press and hold the microphone icon to record voice messages (up to 15s). Photos taken with the camera can also be sent.

• Contacts ?

  Displays contacts added via the 4G LocaFind app's Phonebook. Initially, it may show "Add contacts via phonebook in the app". Calls are made via the mobile network, with costs depending on the SIM card tariff.

• Videocall ?

  Allows video calls with people who have access to the watch via the 4G LocaFind app or other connected watch users. Simply press on the desired contact's name to start a video call.

• Video ▶️

  Record small, simple videos saved on the watch. Videos can only be played back on the watch and cannot be exported.

• Camera ?

  Take photos with or without filters. Change filters using the arrow keys on the display. Press the shutter button at the bottom left to take a photo. Access taken photos via the icon at the bottom right.

• Photos ?️

  View all photos and videos taken. Pressing a photo enlarges it. A trash can icon allows deletion of individual or selected photos/videos.

• Fitness ?

  Displays steps taken. If no steps are shown initially, open the "Steps" function in the 4G LocaFind app under "More" to activate the step counter.

• Setting ⚙️

  Access settings by pressing the display three times. Options include General, Sound, Display, Dial, Menu, Tracker ID, Network, and About.

  • General: Manually set date and time (though usually synchronized via internet). Change language from a list including English, German, French, Spanish, etc. "Allow external calls" setting controls whether calls from unsaved numbers are accepted (default is No). Restart or reset the watch via "Restart and reset".
  • Sound: Customize ringtone and volume for calls and media. Set notification types (ring & vibrate, ring only, vibrate only).
  • Display: Adjust brightness. Set automatic screen turn-off intervals (15s, 30s, 1min). Activate "Display lock" with a 4-digit code.
  • Watch face: Select pre-installed watch faces or use "Custom watch face" to display captured photos.

Menu Navigation and Functions

• Menu: Adjust "Swipe Effect" (Standard, Rotate, Zoom Out). Change "Menu mode" to display icons in Four, Single, or Nine per page. Customize the menu background via "Swap motif".
• Tracker ID: Used to connect the watch with the 4G LocaFind app. Scan the QR code containing the Tracker ID.
• Network: Connect to WLAN routers to save power and improve location. APN is auto-selected by SIM card; can be adjusted if needed. Enable/disable "Data roaming" for international use. "Mobile data" must be on for communication.
• About: Use the "cleaning tool" to clear temporary memory and cache. Check "memory" allocation. View firmware version under "System update".
• Tools: Access friends, motion reminder, calculator, stopwatch, and timer functions.
• Buddies: Add up to 4 friends from other Technaxx 4G Kids-Watches. Requires SIM card with data tariff. Watches must be within 20cm; shake both to initiate search.
• Exercise reminder: Set reminders to move regularly.
• Calculator: Basic arithmetic operations.
• Stopwatch: Simple stopwatch; must remain open to run.
• Timer: Set timer by swiping hours, minutes, and seconds. Continues running in the background.

Health Monitoring

• Temperature ?️: Measure body and skin temperature. Body temperature measurement requires the watch to be worn on the wrist for sensor adaptation. Skin temperature can be measured anytime. History shows last measured temperatures. Info: Body temperature is a reference value calculated from skin temperature and may differ from actual values.
• Vital values ❤️: Measure blood pressure, heart rate, and blood oxygen. Measurement requires the watch to be worn on the wrist. Press "Start measurement" when prompted. Info: Measured values are reference values and may differ from actual values.

4G LocaFind App Features

• Tracker (Home page): Displays selected tracker/watch information, allows settings, and interactions like Chat, Location, Call, and Photo album. Can activate intervals for health measurements and tracking.
• Chat ?: Group chat using voice messages and photos.
• Message: Displays notifications (Alarm) and requests for access (Message).
• Me (Account settings): Manage profile, change password, update username, email, and phone number. Options to delete account or log out.
• Child information (Tracker): Enter and update child's data like name, mobile number, height, weight, etc.
• Tracker list: View all added trackers/watches, their online/offline status, set default trackers, and delete entries. Add new devices by scanning QR codes.
• Location ?: Manually retrieve and update the watch's current location on a map. Requires mobile data reception.
• Call ?: Initiate voice calls to the watch via the mobile network. Requires cellular network reception on the watch.
• Access: Manage users with access to the watch. Administrators can add/remove members and assign rights.
• More: Access "General functions" (Photo album, Video call, Voice call) and "Other functions" (SOS numbers, Restart, Factory settings, Locate, Power off, Battery warning, Alarm Clock, Pedometer, Phone book, School mode).
• Map: Displays the last transmitted location. Symbols indicate battery level, mobile signal strength, and location signal strength. Options to switch map view, show/hide smartphone location, and query location manually. Use "+" to set up security zones (e.g., home, school) and receive notifications upon entry/exit. Playback shows determined locations.
• Vital values: View transmitted vital values like Steps, Heart rate, Blood pressure, Body temperature, and Blood oxygen. These can be viewed as manual measurements or automatic intervals.
• Steps (Fitness) ?: Displays steps taken, kilometers covered, and calories burned in a bar chart view for today, week, or month.
• Heart rate ❤️: View heart rate readings, including maximum, average, and minimum values, in curve graphs for today, week, or month.
• Blood pressure: View blood pressure readings in curve graphs for today, week, or month.
• Body temperature ?️: View body temperature readings, including maximum and minimum, in curve graphs for today, week, or month.
• Blood oxygen: View blood oxygen readings, including maximum and minimum, in curve graphs for today, week, or month.

Care and Maintenance

Clean the device with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Avoid using the device at extremely high or low temperatures, in humid environments, or in rain/water to prevent damage.

Disposal ♻️

Dispose of packaging materials by sorting them by type (cardboard/paper in waste paper, foils for recyclables collection). Old electrical equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are required by law to dispose of old devices at designated collection points for proper recycling. Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of in household waste; return them to a collection point for environmentally friendly disposal.
