4. Event Record
The Easy IP-Cam features a built-in PIR Sensor (Passive Infrared Sensor) that detects infrared signals from moving objects like humans or animals. The default interval time for PIR Sensor activation is 30 seconds. The PIR Sensor activates and can be triggered only after this interval time has passed. This interval prevents multiple images of the same object and allows for a recount after video recording finishes.
Example: The Rec Time is 60 seconds and PIR interval time is 30 seconds (fixed).
Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates PIR triggering. The PIR is triggered, starting camera recording for 60 seconds. After recording stops, there is an interval time of 30 seconds during which the PIR sensor is active but cannot be triggered again. The PIR sensor is active and can be triggered during the recording period and the interval time.
Monitor Event Detection
The Easy IP-Cam automatically records a video clip when the PIR Sensor detects a moving object and sends an instant message to your mobile device running the Easy IP App.
A notification appears on your mobile device, e.g., "Incoming event from CAMERA" or "Easy IP (-1) Alert!". The reminder message remains until the event is checked.
Note:
- Video files are saved on the Easy IP-Cam's MicroSD card. Ensure the MicroSD card is inserted and has enough space.
- The indicator on the Easy IP-Cam does not change when an event occurs. Test to ensure it functions correctly before use.
- The video resolution is 1080p, and the file name format is ALERT0000-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS.MP4.
- The built-in sensor and PIR sensor features are not designed for surveillance or security purposes. The company assumes no responsibility for consequences arising from the use of these features.
View Event Record
Press the remind icon to open the Easy IP app. Press the Advance icon [Advance], then press the Event List icon [Event List]. Select the desired event record and press the Play icon [Play].
Easy IP will download the recorded video to your mobile device before playback.

- The file name format is ALERT0000-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS.MP4.
For iOS:
- Event videos are saved in the "EasyIP_Event_Device Name" folder on the mobile device.
