Advanced Communication Capabilities

The X10DR system provides AES secure wireless communication via your vehicle's mobile radio. It allows users to talk up to 1/2 mile (1000m) amongst their crew, extending communication range significantly beyond traditional methods.

Staying Secure In Remote Work Environments

The vehicle-mounted mobile radio is a primary communication link. The X10DR allows officers to stay in constant communication with each other locally on-site or back to base, even when away from the vehicle, preventing operational slowdowns and maintaining critical response times.

Talk On or Off The Network - Now with local Handsfree

Elite devices allow multiple X10DR Elite handset users to communicate via a single vehicle gateway unit, providing an AES secure, local on-site, exclusive voice channel. Users can simultaneously monitor their vehicle's radio operational channel and communicate over the network. A dedicated Talkaround button enables off-network communication. The system offers full duplex, handsfree talkaround capability, allowing effortless, continuous conversation without missing any audio, even in noisy environments.

The system is ideal for fire appliance crews, enabling them to communicate handsfree while performing critical tasks like securing the area, connecting hoses, starting pumps, and fighting fires.

Command/Automatic Relay Mode

The X10DR Elite Plus features a unique Relay mode. A handset that loses direct connection with the vehicle gateway can have its communications seamlessly relayed via a partner's handset. This is particularly useful for in-building range enhancement, allowing team members to enter buildings while maintaining communication through a relay point.

Extra Loud Receive Audio

The X10DR Elite Plus provides double the receive audio volume of previous models, ensuring messages are heard clearly regardless of background noise.

Safety and Operational Features

Emergency Duress Alarm

The secure wireless microphone includes a duress button to activate the emergency mode within the host mobile radio. Field personnel can call for assistance from hundreds of meters away. X10DR Elite models offer localized alerting to nearby partners and can be programmed to broadcast "Live Mic" for remote monitoring of emergency situations.

Mandown Biometric Monitor Option

When activated, the Mandown function monitors user movement. If no movement or transmit activity occurs for 2 minutes, alert tones sound. If activity remains absent, the radio's emergency input is triggered. The function can be temporarily disabled by powering up the handset or removing it from its charger while pressing the control button. A reminder alert sounds every 2 minutes until re-enabled.

Find Me™ Locator

In case of a lost microphone or an incapacitated user, the Find Me™ feature can be activated by double-pressing the front panel button on the gateway charging cradle. This causes the handset to emit a loud squeal, aiding in quick location.

External Battery Connectivity

For extended use, an optional secondary external battery can be plugged into the handset's headset socket via a magnetic cord adaptor. This allows continuous operation and typically recharges the internal battery in 4 hours. Operation can be doubled when connected to a fully charged handset.

Wireless PTT Button

The X10DR Elite Plus can be paired with the XWPB wireless PTT button for "handsfree like" transmissions, ideal for use with headsets or when hands are occupied.
