X10DR Plus Programming Parameter Guide
Some features are only applicable to firmware version 4.0 Rev 1.3
How to Install Programmer
The X10DR programmer runs on PC or Mac running Windows 7/10. It requires a USB 2.1 Port. USB 3 ports may not be compatible; use a USB 2.1 patch block if necessary.
Included with the programmer download file are instructions for setting up the programmer on your Windows 7/10 PC. Follow these instructions for correct installation.
The X10DR User Programmer requires two separate programs to be installed:
- Drivers: Install BlueSuite from www.x10dr.com. When selecting components, choose 'Blue Core'. Do not install 'Core', 'BlueTest3', or 'DFU' tools.
How to Use Programmer
To put Handset into programming mode: Turn off the handset, attach the programming cable between the device hirose port and the PC. Press and hold the red handset on/off button while holding PTT. The LED will light red.
To put Gateway into programming mode: Turn off the gateway. Hold the gateway ON/OFF button down while attaching the programming cable to the device micro-USB port and PC USB port. The LED will light red. Note: The gateway's RJ45 socket should not be connected to the host radio.
Important: Always READ the device first before proceeding. It is recommended to SAVE the file onto your PC for re-loading if required. A greyed-out feature indicates the device does not support that capability.
