4.4 Assembling and disassembling the water surface cleaning module
Diagrams illustrate the steps: ① Unscrew the plug housing connected to the robot. ② Unplug the cord connected to the robot. ③ Tighten the charging port cover.
Diagrams illustrate further steps for the water surface cleaning module: ③ Take out the debris basket. ④ Remove the communication module. ⑤ Adjust buoyancy line length. ⑥ Install communication module. ⑦ Clamp buoyancy line. ⑧ Place debris basket into the module. ⑨ Connect the module to the robot.
Note: Adjusting the length of the buoyancy line to match the pool water depth can improve the efficiency of surface debris removal.
4.5 Robot works without water surface cleaning module
You can choose to disassemble the water surface cleaning module according to the actual situation of the swimming pool. The robot will not be able to clean the water surface and cannot be controlled by mobile phones or remote controller.
Diagrams illustrate steps: ① Unscrew the plug housing connected to the robot. ② Unplug the cord connected to the robot. ③ Tighten the charging port cover.
③ The robot will start working within 60 seconds after reaching the bottom of the pool.
4.6 Placing the robot into the water
Diagrams show: ① Select the desired cleaning mode, and place the robot in the water as soon as possible. ② Slowly put the robot into the water. Then, the robot will release the air in the body and sink to the bottom of the pool.
4.7 Removing the robot from the swimming pool
① The robot will automatically stop at the pool waterline after the cleaning task is completed or when the battery level is low. After the robot stops at the waterline, the app will notify you. Please remove the robot from the swimming pool and shut it off as soon as possible.
Diagram shows the robot at the pool waterline.
② If the robot has not been removed after staying at the waterline for 3-10 minutes, it will automatically sink and stop at the bottom edge of the swimming pool. Then, you can use the app or remote controller to call the robot to the waterline.
Diagram shows the robot at the bottom edge of the pool.
③ When the robot stops at the bottom edge of the swimming pool, use the hook to lift it out of the pool.

4.8 Cleaning the filter basket
We strongly advise cleaning the filter basket after each cleaning task.
Diagrams illustrate the steps: ① Open the robot compartment cover. ② Remove the filter basket. ③ Open the filter basket cover and remove the debris. ④ Rinse the filter basket.
Note: Please clean the filter basket in time. A clogged filter can affect the overall cleaning performance of the robot, making it difficult to generate suction or trap dirt and debris in the filter basket. If cleaning has no effect, the filter basket needs to be replaced.
4.9 Using the Airrobo mobile app
Diagrams show: ① Search in Google Play or the App Store for "Airrobo," or scan the QR code. ② Sign up and log in to the app. The app screens for registration and login are depicted.
Note: Check the following items before the connection:
- Location on your phone is enabled and the app is allowed to access the location.
- Bluetooth on your phone is enabled.
- Wi-Fi signal coverage is good.
- Your phone is close to the robot (within 5 meters) for better connection.
Diagram shows a phone within 5m of the robot, with an app icon.
④ Select the cleaning mode. Select the cleaning mode you want. Then, the robot will start working in the selected mode.
⑤ Remotely control the cleaning. You can remotely control the movement direction of the robot.
⑥ Perform spot cleaning. The robot will perform spot cleaning with the current position as the center.
4.10 Resetting the device
Note: After you reset the device, all settings of the robot will be cleared, including the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection history.
Diagram shows the robot with directional arrows indicating a reset sequence: Rotate in the order of 1-2-1-2-3-2 within 5 seconds.

For optimal product performance, follow these instructions to maintain the robot.
5.1 After daily use
- Clean the robot and filter basket after each cleaning.
- Keep away from direct sunlight.
- Make sure that the charging port is dry before charging.
5.2 Every 3-4 months or after a deep cleaning cycle (when the pool is dirty)
- Check to make sure that there is no debris in the roller brushes, tracks, and gears.
5.3 Every 12 months or when the robot is found to be working/rotating slowly
- Check the tracks and roller brushes for wear. If they are worn, replace them.
6. Off-season Storage
If the robot will not be used for a long time, perform the following storage steps:
- Thoroughly clean and dry the filter basket, roller brushes, and tracks.
- Ensure that there is no residual water in the cleaner.
- Fully charge the robot before storage. Place it in a well-ventilated, cool place with a temperature between 5°C and 45°C (41°F and 113°F) and a humidity below 80% RH. Avoid direct sunlight, rain, or frost.
- The battery should be charged at least every 3 months to prevent over-discharge.
- Do not leave the robot within the reach of children or people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
7. Parts Replacement

Remove all the silicone buckles, replace the roller brush belt with a new one, align the silicone buckles with the mounting grooves, and press the buckles to fix them in the grooves.
7.2 Track replacement
① Remove the side panels:
Remove the two screw covers. Using a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two screws holding the side panels and track panels in place. Remove the side panels and track panels and set them aside.
Diagram shows removing screw covers and side panels.
② Clean: Clean the inside of the side panels and dry them with a paper towel or cloth.
③ Replace: Replace the tracks as required.
Diagram shows removing the tracks and cleaning the inside of the side panels.
