Important Information
The danita 2000 Multi is tested in accordance with Directive 1999/5/EC. It is generally legal to use danita models in all EU countries, provided the danita 2000 Multi is used according to the rules of the individual country. For example, in CH, DK, NO, SE, and SK, only FM modulation is permitted (Select code 06 in country selector). If in doubt, consult your dealer.

The danita 2000 Multi must not be used in ways that could harm you or others. For your safety and protection, do not use the danita 2000 Multi in any way other than described in this manual.
Country Selection
When the danita 2000 Multi is turned on, the display will flash with a two-digit code. Code 06 can be used in all countries. To change the country selection, press and hold the UP knob for 3 seconds when turning the danita 2000 Multi ON. Use the UP/DN knobs to select the desired country code. Keep the DN knob pressed for 3 seconds to store the new country selection.

Select code 06 for: AT, CH, CZ, DE, DK, GB, HU, IS, LT, LU, LV, NO, PT, SE, SI, SK, and SR.
Select code 05 for: BE, EE, ES, FI, FR, GR, IE, and NL.

How To Use danita 2000 Multi
Ensure a suitable antenna is connected and the power is on. Set the volume control to approximately medium and adjust the squelch control until the background noise just disappears. Hold the microphone about 2 inches (5 cm) from your mouth. Press the microphone's transmit button and speak clearly. Release the transmit button to listen. Adjust the volume to the desired listening level when the other party responds.
Service
If your transceiver does not work properly, first check that all controls are set as instructed in this manual. If the situation does not improve, do not attempt to fix the transceiver yourself. Take the unit to your dealer and provide a short description of the fault. To clean the transceiver, use only a damp cloth.
Disposal
Important! The device must not be discarded with regular household waste. Please dispose of it responsibly, for example, at a designated recycling centre. ♻️
Front Panel Controls
The front panel features the following controls:
- 1. MICROPHONE CONNECTOR: Insert the microphone plug here.
- 2. ON/OFF SWITCH AND VOLUME CONTROL: Combined ON/OFF switch and volume control. Turn clockwise to power on and increase volume.
- 3. SQUELCH: Used to eliminate unwanted noise. Adjust clockwise until background noise just disappears.
- 4+5. CHANNEL SELECTOR: Select the desired channel using the UP/DN knobs.
- 6. DISPLAY: Shows the current channel. When powering on, it displays the country selection digit.
- 7+8. AM/FM BUTTON & FM LED: Button "7" is used for selecting modulation (AM/FM) if supported by country selection. The FM LED "8" lights up when FM modulation is active.
- 9+10. DX/LO BUTTONS: The "10" button (LO) lowers the receiver signal sensitivity by approximately 20dB when lit.
- 11. TX/RX LED: This indicator light is green when receiving and red when transmitting (when the microphone transmit button is pressed).
Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel includes the following connections:
- 12. ANTENNA CONNECTOR: UHF / PL connector. Connect an antenna specifically designed for 27 MHz here. Ensure the antenna and cable are 50 Ohm impedance. Never transmit without a correctly mounted antenna.
- 13. EXT. SPEAKER JACK: A 3.5 mm jack for connecting an external loudspeaker (8 Ohm impedance). When a plug is inserted, the built-in speaker is automatically disconnected.
- 14. DC POWER INPUT: Connect a 12-15 Volt DC power source. Connect the black cable to negative (ground) and the red cable to positive (+).
