Pioneer VSX-LX505 Initial Setup Guide
This guide provides the initial setup steps for the Pioneer VSX-LX505 AV Receiver.
STEP 1: Speaker Connection
This section details the initial connection of speakers to the AV receiver.
Important Note: This document uses a 7.1 channel system as an example. For systems other than 7.1, or for multi-zone features and other detailed operating instructions, refer to the online instruction manual.

7.1 Channel System Speaker Layout:
- FL, FR: Front Speakers
- C: Center Speaker
- SL, SR: Surround Speakers
- SW: Powered Subwoofer
- SBL, SBR: Surround Back Speakers
Speaker Placement Angles:
- a: 22° to 30°
- b: 90° to 110°
- c: 135° to 150°
Connecting Speakers:
Connect speakers with an impedance of 4 Ω to 16 Ω. Twist the ends of the speaker cable wires tightly.

On-Screen Setup Menu:
