Thank you for choosing the Redmi Pad SE 8.7. To turn on the device, long press the power button. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your device.

Important Safety Information

- Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments. Overheating may cause explosion.
- User shall not remove or alter the battery; only authorized repair centers should perform this.
- Keep your device dry.
- Do not attempt self-repair. Contact customer support or an authorized repair center for issues.
- Connect other devices according to their manuals; do not connect incompatible devices.
- For AC/DC adapters, the socket-outlet should be near the equipment and easily accessible.
Safety Precautions
- Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting tablet use in specific situations and environments.
- Do not use the tablet at petrol stations, in explosive atmospheres, or areas with chemicals or particles like grain, dust, or metal powders. Obey signs to turn off wireless devices.
- Do not use the tablet in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Comply with all hospital rules. If you have a medical device, consult your doctor and the manufacturer. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between the tablet and a pacemaker. Avoid use near hearing aids or cochlear implants.
- Observe aircraft safety regulations and turn off the tablet on board aircraft when required.
- When driving, use the tablet in accordance with traffic laws.
- To avoid lightning strikes, do not use the tablet outdoors during thunderstorms.
- Do not use the tablet in high humidity places like bathrooms, as this may cause electric shock, injury, fire, or charger damage.
- Connect the "Redmi Pad SE 8.7" to a computer using a USB data cable. Use the included USB cable with a Mi brand charger.
- Third-party chargers must comply with USB2.0 or higher standards and relevant safety standards (IEC 60950, IEC 62368-1).
- The product supports chargers with a maximum output of 18W (max voltage 9V, max current 2A). Using other chargers may damage the product and cause safety risks.

Restrictions in the 2.4 GHz band: Norway: This subsection does not apply for the geographical area within a radius of 20 km from the centre of Ny-Ålesund.
