MIUI
The Redmi Pad SE comes with MIUI pre-installed, an Android-based operating system offering regular updates and user-friendly features based on feedback from over 200 million active users worldwide. For more information, visit en.miui.com.
Device Overview
The Redmi Pad SE features the following:
- Power Button: Used to turn the device on/off and lock/unlock the screen.
- Volume Buttons: Adjust the audio volume.
- USB Type-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
- SD Card Tray: For expandable storage.
Important Safety Information
Please read all safety information before using the device:
- Using unauthorized cables, power adapters, or batteries may cause fires, explosions, or other risks. Use only authorized accessories compatible with your device.
- The operating temperature range is 0°C to 40°C. Using the device outside this range may cause damage.
- If the device has a built-in battery, do not attempt to replace it yourself to avoid damaging the battery or device.
- Charge the device only with the included or authorized cable and adapter. Using other adapters may cause fires, electric shocks, and damage.
- Disconnect the adapter after charging is complete. Do not charge for more than 12 hours.
- Batteries should be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Improper handling can cause fires or explosions. Dispose of or recycle the device, battery, and accessories according to local regulations.
- Do not disassemble, strike, smash, or burn the battery. If the battery appears deformed or damaged, stop using it immediately. Avoid short-circuiting the battery, as this can cause overheating or burns. Do not place the battery in high-temperature environments, as overheating can cause explosions.
- The user should not extract or alter the battery. Only an authorized service center can perform battery extraction or repair.
- Keep your device dry.
- Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact Mi customer support or an authorized service center if any part is not functioning correctly.
- Connect other devices according to their manuals. Do not connect incompatible devices.
- For AC/DC adapters, the power socket should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
Safety Precautions
Follow these precautions for safe usage:
- Respect all laws and regulations restricting tablet use in specific situations and environments.
- Do not use the tablet in refueling stations, explosive or potentially explosive environments, including fuel loading areas, ship decks, fuel/chemical transfer/storage facilities, or areas where the air may contain chemical particles or substances like grains, dust, or metallic dust. Obey signage to turn off wireless devices in such areas.
- Do not use the tablet in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Always comply with hospital and health center regulations. If you have a medical device, consult your doctor and the device manufacturer regarding potential interference. Maintain a minimum distance of 15 cm between the tablet and pacemakers. Avoid using the tablet near hearing aids, cochlear implants, or similar medical equipment.
- Respect aircraft security regulations and turn off your tablet on board aircraft when required.
- When driving, use your tablet in accordance with traffic laws and regulations.
- To avoid lightning strikes, do not use your tablet outdoors during thunderstorms.
- Do not use the tablet in very humid places like bathrooms, as this may cause electric shocks, injuries, fires, and charger damage.
Security Declaration
Update your tablet's operating system using the integrated software update function or visit an authorized service location. Updating via other means may damage the device, cause data loss, or create security issues.
EU Regulations
Conformity Declaration with RED: Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. declares that this tablet with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, model 23073RPBFL, complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/UE. Radiofrequency Exposure Information (SAR): This device complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure (10g SAR limit: 2.0 W/kg) as specified by Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU). During SAR testing, the device was configured for highest certified power transmission across all tested frequency bands. When carrying the device close to the body, use a belt clip or a case without metallic components. Avoid body accessories with metallic components, as their compliance with radiofrequency exposure was not tested or certified.

Use in the 5250 to 5350MHz frequency range is restricted to indoor use in specific countries (AT, BE, BG, HR, CY, CZ, DK, EE, FI, FR, DE, EL, HU, IE, IT, LV, LT, LU, MT, NL, PL, PT, RO, SK, SI, ES, SE, UK(NI), IS, LI, NO, CH, TR).
Wi-Fi connectivity may vary based on regional availability and local network compatibility. Functions can be added via OTA updates.
Ensure your power adapter complies with Clause 6.4.5 in IEC/EN 62368-1 and is nationally/locally approved.

FCC Regulations
This tablet complies with FCC Part 15 rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it must not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The tablet has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits per FCC Part 15, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. This equipment generates, uses, and radiates radiofrequency energy. Improper installation or use may cause harmful interference to radio communications. If interference occurs, try relocating the receiving antenna, increasing separation distance, or connecting to a different circuit. Consult a supplier or experienced technician for assistance.

Connection Instructions
- To connect your tablet to power and recharge the battery, use only the provided charger.
- Connect the USB cable to the tablet's USB port.
- Connect the USB cable to the battery charger's USB port.
- Connect the charger to an AC power socket (100-240 V~).
- To disconnect the charger, firmly pull the charger from the AC socket, not the cable.
Using FM Radio
To use FM Radio, go to Start > Tools > FM Radio. Headphones must be connected as they function as the antenna. Power: 5 V = 2 A 10.0W. Adapter Input: 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 0.35 A. Output: 5 V = 2 A 10.0W.
