Safety Guidelines
- Read all the following safety information before using the device.
- Using unauthorized cables, power adapters, or batteries may cause fire, explosion, or other hazards. Use only approved and compatible accessories.
- The operating temperature for this device is 0–40 °C. Using the device at other temperatures may damage it.
- If the device has a built-in battery, do not attempt to replace it yourself.
- Charge the device only with the supplied or approved cable and power adapter. Using other adapters may cause fire, electric shock, or damage.
- When charged, unplug the adapter from both the device and the power outlet. Do not charge for more than 12 hours.
- The battery must be recycled or disposed of separately from household waste. Improper use may cause fire or explosion. Dispose of or recycle the device, its battery, and accessories according to local regulations.
- Do not disassemble, puncture, crush, or incinerate the battery. If the battery is unusually shaped or damaged, stop using it immediately.
- Avoid short-circuiting the battery, which can cause overheating and burns or other injuries.
- Do not use the battery in a hot environment; overheating can cause an explosion.
- Do not disassemble, puncture, or crush the battery to prevent leakage, overheating, or explosion.
- Do not incinerate the battery to prevent fire or explosion. If the battery is unusually shaped or damaged, stop using it immediately.
- The battery must not be removed or modified by yourself. Only an authorized service center may remove or repair it.

Safety Precautions

- Keep a distance of at least 15 cm between the tablet and pacemakers to avoid potential interference.

- When driving, comply with applicable traffic laws.
- Do not use the tablet outdoors during thunderstorms to avoid lightning strikes.
- Do not use the tablet in wet conditions (e.g., bathrooms) to prevent electric shock, injury, fire, or charger damage.
- Connect the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 to a computer using a USB cable.
- Use the supplied USB cable with a Mi brand charger and connect to an extension cord.
- You can also use other chargers that comply with USB2.0 or higher protocol standards and meet relevant safety standards (e.g., IEC 60950, IEC 62368-1).
- The product accepts chargers with a maximum power of 18W. Maximum voltage should not exceed 9V and maximum current should not exceed 2A. Using chargers that do not meet these requirements may damage the product and compromise safety.
Security Statement
Update the tablet's operating system via the internal software update function or by visiting an authorized service center. Updating software by other means may damage the device or cause data loss, security issues, or other hazards.
For optimal charging speed, use a charger with an input power of 10-18W (USB PD fast charging).

Wi-Fi connectivity (including frequency bands, standards, and functions certified according to IEEE 802.11) may vary based on regional availability and network support. This function may be added wirelessly as available.
2.4 GHz band restrictions: Norway: this provision does not apply to the geographical area within 20 kilometers of Ny-Ålesund.
Ensure that the power adapters used comply with the regulations of the destination country and international/regional safety standards.
