2. Add device
- Plug in and power up your S20 Socket.
- Press the button for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks rapidly. Note: Due to different firmware and modules, the LED may blink in two ways.
Open eWeLink and tap "+" to see pairing icons. Select the pairing mode based on the LED blinking:
- If the LED blinks rapidly (represented by a square symbol ?️), select Quick Pairing Mode (TOUCH) and tap Next.
- If the LED blinks differently:
- If the device firmware is 1.6.0 or higher, select Quick Pairing Mode (TOUCH). Otherwise, pairing may fail. Tap Next.
- If the firmware is lower than 1.6.0, select Compatible Pairing Mode (AP). iOS users should go to Phone Settings > WiFi, connect to the WiFi starting with "ITEAD******", and enter the default password "12345678". Then, return to eWeLink and tap Next.
The app will auto-search for nearby smart home devices.
Enter your home WiFi password. If there is no password, leave it blank. Note: eWeLink currently only supports the 2.4G WiFi communication protocol; 5G WiFi is not supported.
Name the device to complete the process.
The device may appear "Offline" initially. It requires about 1 minute to connect to your router and server. When the green LED is solid, the device is "Online". If it remains "Offline", close and reopen the eWeLink app.
3. APP features
- WiFi remote control and device state: Tap the device icon to turn it on/off. The device status is displayed simultaneously on the app.
- Share Control: The owner can share devices with other eWeLink accounts. Both users must be online in eWeLink for the invitation to be received. To share, tap Share, enter the eWeLink account (phone number or email), select timer permissions (edit/delete/change/enable), and tap Next. The other account will receive an invitation. Accepting it shares the device successfully, granting control access. [share icon]
- Timing: Supports up to 8 enabled single, repeat, or countdown timing schedules per device. [clock icon]
- Set default power-on status: In Device Settings, you can configure the default state (ON or OFF) when the device powers up. [gear icon]

- Security mechanism: Each device has a unique owner. To add a device to another account, it must first be deleted from the current account.
- Update: The app will automatically remind you of new firmware or version updates. Please update promptly.
