S26 Smart Socket User Guide

1. Download the eWeLink App

The setup process begins with downloading the eWeLink app. The interface shows two smartphone examples: one displaying the Apple App Store with the eWeLink app, and another showing the Google Play Store with the eWeWeLink app. Search for "eWeLink" in your device's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play for Android).

2. Add Device

1. Plug in and power up your S26 Socket.
2. Press the button for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks rapidly [green LED indicator].
3. Open the eWeLink app, tap the "+" icon, and select "Quick Pairing Mode (TOUCH)". Tap "Next".
4. The app will auto-search for nearby smart home devices [Wi-Fi connection icon].
5. The app will automatically detect your home Wi-Fi SSID. Enter your Wi-Fi password. If your network has no password, leave the field blank. Note: eWeLink currently supports only 2.4G Wi-Fi; 5G Wi-Fi is not supported.
6. Name your device to complete the setup.
7. The device may appear "Offline" in eWeLink initially as it connects to your router and server (this may take up to a minute). Once the green LED is solid, the device is "Online". If it remains "Offline" in the app, try closing and reopening the eWeWeLink app.

3. App Features

1. Wi-Fi Remote Control and Device State

Turn devices on/off by tapping their icons in the app. The device status is updated simultaneously in the app.

2. Share Control

Share control of your devices with other eWeLink accounts. Both the owner and the recipient must be online in eWeWeLink for the invitation to be received. To share [sharing icon]: tap "Share", enter the recipient's eWeWeLink account (phone number or email address), select desired permissions (edit, delete, change, enable), add a note, and tap "Next". The recipient will receive an invitation. Upon acceptance, the device will be successfully shared, granting the other user control.

3. Timing

Set up to 8 enabled single, repeat, or countdown timing schedules per device [timing icon].

4. Set Default Power On Status

Within "Device Setting" [settings icon], you can configure the default status (ON or OFF) when the device powers on.

5. Scene/Smart Scene

Scenes allow automatic triggering of your devices. Access "Scene Settings" from the upper right corner of the Device List. You can create scenes or smart scenes to control devices. To set up a scene, select "Click to execute" as the condition, add existing devices, name the scene, and save it.

6. Security Mechanism

Each device is linked to one owner. Devices already added cannot be added by others. To add a device to a different account, it must first be deleted from the original account.

7. Update

The app will notify you of new firmware or software versions. It is recommended to update promptly.
