App Stores: [App Store icon] for iOS, [Google Play icon] for Android.
2. Wiring Instructions
Input Voltage: AC 90V~250V
Wiring Diagram Description: The device has input terminals for Live (L) and Neutral (N) AC power. Two sets of output terminals are provided, each with a Live and Neutral connection, to connect two separate appliances. Red wires typically represent Live connections, and black wires represent Neutral connections.
Setup and Pairing:
- Connect your sensor (if applicable) and power up the device.
- Press and hold the button on the device for 7 seconds until the green LED blinks rapidly (3 times, then on repeatedly), indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Open the eWeLink app and tap the "Add" icon to search for the device.
- For Android, select the first pairing icon and proceed. For iOS, select the appropriate pairing method icon and proceed.
- Enter your home WiFi network name (SSID) and password. Note: eWeLink currently supports only the 2.4GHz WiFi communication protocol; 5GHz WiFi is not supported.

- The device will be registered by eWeLink and added to your account. This typically takes 1-3 minutes.
- Name your device to complete the setup.
- The device may initially appear as "Offline" in the eWeLink app. It requires about 1 minute to connect to your router and the server. The device is "Online" when the green LED is solid. If it remains offline, try restarting the eWeLink app.
3. App Features
WiFi Remote Control and Device State
Turn devices on or off by tapping their respective icons in the app. The current state of each connected device is displayed simultaneously in the app.
Device Sharing
You can share your devices with other eWeLink accounts. Both the owner and the recipient must be online in eWeLink for the invitation to be received. To share, tap "Share", enter the recipient's eWeLink account (phone number or email), select timer permissions, and tap "Next". The recipient will receive an invitation; accepting it completes the sharing process.
Timing Schedules
The Sonoff Dual supports up to 8 enabled single, repeat, or countdown timing schedules per device. These timers can function even if the network is unavailable, provided the device remains powered on.
4. Scene / Smart Scene
Scenes allow you to automate the ON/OFF status of your devices. Access Scene Settings from the upper right corner of the Device List. You can create custom scenes or smart scenes.
To set up a scene, select "Click to execute" as the condition, add existing devices, name the scene, and save it.
5. Default Device State
In the Device Settings, you can configure the default state of the device when power is restored. Options include ON, OFF, or maintaining the previous state.
6. Security Mechanism
Each Sonoff Dual device is linked to one owner. To add the device to a different account, it must first be deleted from the current account.
7. Updates
The app will notify you of new firmware or version updates. It is recommended to update promptly.
Note: This model does not support desktop widgets on Android phones.
4. Problems and Solutions
For detailed troubleshooting, refer to the FAQ on the Itead Smart Home Forum. If your issue is not resolved, submit feedback via the eWeLink app.
1. Device Stays "Offline" After Successful Addition
Newly added devices require 1-2 minutes to connect to your router and the internet. Check the green LED status:
- LED Blinks Rapidly (1 time, repeats): Failed to connect to the router. Possible causes: incorrect WiFi password, weak WiFi signal, or attempting to connect to a 5GHz network (only 2.4GHz is supported). Ensure your router's MAC address filtering is not blocking the device.
- LED Blinks Slowly (1 time, repeats): Connected to router and server but failed to be added to the device list. Power cycle the device; if the issue persists, try adding it again.
- LED Blinks Twice Rapidly (repeats): Connected to the router but failed to connect to the server. Verify that your WiFi router is functioning correctly.
2. App Cannot Find Device in Pairing Mode
This may be due to phone cache issues. Try closing and reopening your phone's WLAN after a minute. Power cycle the device and attempt pairing again.
3. WiFi Expired / LAN Connection / Direct Hotspot Connection
This product currently does not support LAN mode or direct connection to a device hotspot. It requires a WiFi router connection.
4. Green LED Remains Off / Device Unresponsive
If the device is powered on but the green LED is off and the device does not respond to button presses, the internal circuit may be damaged. Contact customer support for assistance or consider returning the device for testing. Return shipping and potential repair costs may apply.
