Shoe Cabinet Assembly Instructions

Safety and Care Advice

Important – Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly

• Check you have all the components and tools listed on the following pages.
• Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and separate them into their groups.
• Keep children and animals away from the work area; small parts could cause choking if swallowed.
• Make sure you have enough space to lay out the parts before starting.

During Assembly:

• Do not stand or put weight on the product during assembly, as this could cause damage.
• Assemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible.
• Assemble on a soft, level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor.
• Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people.
• To reduce the likelihood of damaging your product, please ensure that your power drill is set on a low torque setting.

Care and Maintenance:

• Only clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent; do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
• From time to time, check that there are no loose screws on this unit.
• This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take it to your local authority waste disposal centre.

Handy Hints:

• Assemble all parts and bolts loosely during assembly; only fully tighten the bolts once the product is complete.
• Regularly check and ensure that all bolts and fittings are tightened properly.

WARNING: In order to help prevent overturning – please follow these instructions.

To help prevent product toppling over, please follow the below steps:

• Use the anti-tip strap or wall fixing method provided (if applicable).
• Do not allow children to climb or hang on the furniture.
• Do not open more than one drawer at a time.
• Do not place heavy items in the top drawers.
• Do not place heavy items on top of the furniture, unless the furniture has been designed for this purpose.

Using Camlocks

Step 1: Connect the male camlock as directed in the assembly instructions using a screwdriver ?.

Step 2: Push the male camlock into the entry hole.

Step 3: Insert the female camlock as shown in the instruction. Note: Ensure that the arrow on the top of the camlock points towards the entry hole for the male camlock.

Step 4: Turn the female camlock clockwise with a screwdriver. You should feel a click when the camlock is locked in place. The joint is now secure.

Step 1:

Attach Cam Bolts (A) to the indicated holes on parts 5 (Front), 5 (Back), 3 (Front), and 3 (Back) using a screwdriver ?. Note the 180° rotation ? indicated for parts 5 and 3.

Step 2:

Assemble the drawer slides (F). Attach the corresponding slide components (F-CL, F-DL, F-CR, F-DR) to the drawer sides and the main cabinet structure as shown. Use screws (L) and cam locks (B) as indicated.

Step 3:

Connect part 1 to part 11 using cam locks (L) and cam bolts (F-CR, F-CL). Ensure correct orientation of cam locks.

Step 4:

Attach feet (P) and mounting plates (M, N) to the underside of part 15 using screws (L). Ensure correct placement and quantity (L*28, M*4, N*2).

Step 5:

Attach part 6 to part 5 using cam bolts (B) and cam locks (D). Ensure correct alignment.

Step 6:

Connect part 2 to part 1 using dowels (C) and screws (E). Ensure parts are flush.

Step 7:

Connect part 3 to parts 1 and 2 using dowels (C) and cam bolts (B). Ensure correct alignment and secure with cam locks.

Step 8:

Attach part 4 to the partially assembled structure (parts 1, 2, 3) using cam bolts (B). Ensure correct orientation.

Step 9:

Attach part 5 to the structure using cam bolts (B) and dowels (C). Secure with cam locks (B). Note the diagram showing the use of cam locks and bolts.

Step 10:

Connect part 7 to parts 3 and 5 using dowels (C) and screws (E). Ensure proper alignment.

Step 11:

Assemble the main frame by connecting parts 3, 5, and 7. Flip the assembly carefully (? 90°).

Step 12:

Insert part 8 into the structure, securing it with cam bolt (B) and dowel (C).

Step 13:

Attach part 9 to the structure using cam bolts (B).

Step 14:

Slide parts 10 into the designated slots on parts 7, 3, and 5.

Step 15:

Attach part 11 (top panel) to the assembled frame using cam bolts (B) and dowels (C). Secure with cam locks (B). Note the diagram showing cam lock operation.

Step 16:

Flip the assembly carefully (? 180°).

Step 17:

Attach part 9 to the structure using cam bolts (B).

Step 18:

Slide parts 10 into the designated slots on parts 7, 3, and 5.

Step 19:

Attach part 12 (top panel) to the assembled frame using cam bolts (B) and dowels (C). Secure with cam locks (B).

Step 20:

Assemble the drawer base. Connect parts 21, 22, and 23 using screws (B) and dowels (C). Insert part 24 into the groove.

Step 21:

Continue assembling the drawer base. Connect parts 21, 22, 23, 7, 3, 5, 12, and 13 using cam bolts (B) and dowels (C). Slide part 14 into place.

Step 22:

Attach drawer slides (F) to the drawer box parts (21, 22) using screws (E) and dowels (C). Note the use of cam locks (G) and screws (E).

Step 23:

Attach feet (P) and midfeet (Q) to the bottom of the cabinet using screws (E).

Step 24:

Attach adjusting feet (R) to the bottom of the cabinet. Adjust the height of the footing by rotating them.

Step 25:

Insert bulkhead pins (J) into the designated holes on the doors and cabinet interior.

Step 26:

Insert shelves (16) into the cabinet, aligning them with the pre-drilled holes or supports.

Step 27:

Attach Half Overlay Hinges (G) and Full Inset Hinges (H) to the doors (18) and the cabinet frame using screws (L). Ensure correct hinge type (G or H) is used as per the diagram and instructions.

Step 28:

Attach Half Overlay Hinges (G) and Full Inset Hinges (H) to the doors (17) and the cabinet frame using screws (L). Ensure correct hinge type (G or H) is used as per the diagram and instructions.

Step 29:

Attach Half Overlay Hinges (G) to the doors (19) and the cabinet frame using screws (L). Ensure correct hinge type (G) is used as per the diagram and instructions.

Step 30:

Attach Half Overlay Hinges (G) to the doors (18) and the cabinet frame using screws (L). Ensure correct hinge type (G) is used as per the diagram and instructions.

Step 31:

Adjust the doors for proper alignment. Refer to the diagrams (a, b, c, d) for adjusting door height, side panel distance, and gap between doors. Tighten screws after adjustment.

Step 32:

Assemble the drawer box. Connect parts 21, 22, and 23 using screws (D). Insert part 24. Connect part 20. Install hardware (F) drawer slides to parts 21 and 22 using screws (L).

Step 33:

Insert the assembled drawer into the cabinet.

Step 34:

Fix back panel buckles (K) into the gaps with screws (L) to make the back panel more stable.

Step 35:

Install the anti-dumping kit (S) to secure the furniture to the wall. Follow the steps: Step 1: Drill wall. Step 2: Insert wall plug (S1) and screw (S2). Step 3: Attach strap (S3) to wall using screw (S4). Step 4: Attach strap (S5) to furniture using screw (J4).

Step 36:

Final check of the assembled Shoe Cabinet.
