Important Safety Instructions

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, some basic safety precautions must be observed. These include the following instructions:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS DEVICE

  1. This device is suitable for use by children aged 8 years and above, or by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or instructed on the safe handling of the device and understand the associated hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
  2. Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects from the floor that the device could get entangled in. Tuck rug fringes under the rug and ensure that curtains, tablecloths, etc., do not hang down to the floor.
  3. If there are steps or stairs in the area to be cleaned, the device must be operated in such a way that it recognizes the step without falling over the edge. It may be necessary to install a physical barrier at the edge to prevent the device from falling. Ensure that the physical barrier does not create a tripping hazard.
  4. Use the device only as described in this instruction manual. Use only recommended or manufacturer-offered accessories.
  5. Ensure that the voltage of the power source matches the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate of the docking station.
  6. Use the device EXCLUSIVELY for INDOOR household use. Do not use the device outdoors or for commercial or industrial applications.
  7. Use only the original rechargeable battery and docking station supplied by the manufacturer with the device. Non-rechargeable batteries are not permitted.
  8. Do not use the device without the dustbin or filter.
  9. Do not use the device in areas where there are burning candles or fragile objects.
  10. Do not use the device in extremely hot or cold environments (below -5 °C/23 °F or above 40 °C /104 °F).
  11. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and other body parts away from any openings and moving parts.
  12. Do not use the device in rooms where babies or children are sleeping.
  13. Do not use the device on wet surfaces or on surfaces where water is standing.
  14. Ensure that the device does not pick up larger objects such as stones, large pieces of paper, or other objects that could clog the device.
  15. Do not use the device to pick up flammable or combustible materials such as gasoline, printer or copier toner, and avoid areas where these materials may be present.
  16. Do not use the device to pick up cigarettes, matches, hot ash, or other burning, smoldering, or fire-causing objects.
  17. Do not insert the mentioned objects into the suction port. Do not operate the device with a clogged suction port. Keep the suction port free of dust, lint, hair, or other materials that obstruct airflow.
  18. Ensure that the power cord is not damaged. Do not pull or carry the device or docking station by the power cord, do not use the power cord as a handle, do not pinch the power cord in a closed door, and do not pull it over sharp edges or corners. Ensure that the device does not run over the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
  19. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service to prevent any hazards.
  20. Do not use the docking station if it is damaged. The power supply must not be repaired or reused if it is damaged or defective.
  21. Do not use the device or docking station if the power cord or socket is damaged. Do not use the device or docking station if it does not function properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or come into contact with water. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service to prevent any hazards.
  22. Turn off the device before cleaning or maintenance (Power Switch OFF).
  23. Before cleaning or maintaining the docking station, the plug must be removed from the socket.
  24. Remove the battery before disposing of the device. To do this, remove the device from the docking station and turn it off (Power Switch OFF).
  25. Before disposing of the device, the battery must be removed and disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  26. Used batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  27. Do not incinerate the device, even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.
  28. If the docking station is not used for a long time, it must be disconnected from the mains.
  29. Always use the device in accordance with the instructions in this manual. Our company assumes no liability for injuries and damages resulting from improper use.
  30. The robot contains batteries that may only be replaced by trained personnel. For battery replacement or removal, please contact customer service.
  31. If the robot is not used for a long time, turn it off for storage. Also, disconnect the docking station from the mains.
  32. WARNING: Use only the detachable power adapter supplied with the device to recharge the battery.

Proper Disposal of this Product
This symbol indicates that the product must not be disposed of with household waste throughout the EU. Recycle the device responsibly to support the sustainable reuse of materials and prevent potential environmental or health damage from uncontrolled waste disposal. For recycling your used device, use the appropriate return and collection systems, or contact the dealer where you purchased the device. They can dispose of the product safely.

2. Operation and Programming

2.1 Before Cleaning

  1. Place furniture like chairs in their designated spots within the cleaning area.
  2. It may be necessary to install a physical barrier at the edge of a step to prevent the device from falling.

Remove items like cables, cloths, slippers, etc., from the floor to improve cleaning efficiency.

Fold the edges of fringed rugs before using the device.

Please avoid narrow spaces like hallways and ensure the robot is not blocked.

2.2 Quick Guide

  1. Remove protective material. (Diagram shows removal of tape/foam from the robot and docking station).
  2. Install Side Brushes. (Diagram shows attaching the side brushes to the robot's underside).

2.3 Charging the Robot

  1. Docking Station Setup: (Diagram shows placement of the docking station with required clearances: >0.5m/1.64ft on the sides, >1.5m/4.92ft in front).
  2. Turn on the Device: (Diagram shows the power switch on the robot. Note: The robot cannot be charged when it is turned off.)
  3. Charging the Robot: The [power] button blinks when the robot is charging. The [power] button light turns off when the robot is fully charged. Charging Time: ≥ 3.5-4.5 hours. (Diagram shows robot on dock with charging indicator). Note: It is recommended not to pick up or move the robot during cleaning so that it can successfully return to the charging station.

2.4 Lefant Life App

To utilize all available functions, it is recommended to control your robot via the Lefant Life App.

Before you begin, ensure:

Download and Install the App:

Add Device and Pair Network via App: On the home screen, select <Add Device> and follow the in-app instructions. Open the <Lefant Life> app and log in (new users must register first). Select <Add Device> on the home screen. Then, pair the network according to the detailed instructions in the app.

Reset the Device: If a network pairing error occurs, reset the device. 1. Turn on the power switch on your robot. 2. Press the [button] button on your robot for 3 seconds to enter EZ Network Pairing Mode (the robot will beep once). Press for another 3 seconds to enter AP Network Pairing Mode (the robot will beep twice).

2.5 Getting Started with Cleaning

Monitor the robot during the first cleaning and assist with any issues.

  1. Cleaning in AUTO Mode: The robot cleans in a programmed pattern, designed for hard floors by default. (Diagram shows a back-and-forth cleaning pattern).
  2. Return to Charging Station: (Diagram shows the robot moving towards the docking station).

2.6 Mopping Function

Notes:

Using the Mopping Function:

3. Maintenance

3.1 Regular Maintenance

To ensure maximum robot performance, perform maintenance tasks and component replacements according to the following frequencies:

Turn the robot OFF ⏻ and disconnect the docking station from the power supply before performing cleaning or maintenance.

A multifunction cleaning tool is provided for easy maintenance. Handle this tool with care as it has sharp edges.

3.2 Dustbin

⚠️ Warning: Do not use water to clean the dustbin and filter materials!

4.2 Alarm Tones

If the robot detects a malfunction, an alarm tone will sound, and the START/PAUSE button will blink or light up RED.

Helpful Hints: If problems cannot be resolved by the measures described above, please try turning the main power switch back on under the cover to restart the device.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Troubleshooting

Network setup began before the robot was ready. The robot does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.Enter the correct username and password for the wireless home network. Ensure the robot is within range of your wireless home network signal. Network settings for the device can only be performed when it is in the 'awaiting network configuration' state. Also refer to the instructions in the app. Ensure the robot is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2Robot not chargingThe robot is not turned on (Power Switch ON). The robot has no contact with the docking station. The docking station is not connected to the power supply. After prolonged storage, the battery is fully discharged.Turn the robot ON. Check if the device or charging station contacts are dirty. If necessary, clean the parts as described in the 'Care and Maintenance' chapter of the instruction manual. Ensure the docking station is connected to the power supply. It is recommended to use the device regularly. If the device is not used for a long time and cannot be charged, please contact our customer service.
3Robot cannot return to docking stationThe docking station was not placed properly. The docking station was not connected properly. The docking station is moved manually during cleaning. The robot did not start cleaning at the docking station.Refer to Section 2.3 for proper docking station placement. Ensure the docking station is connected correctly. The robot cannot reach certain areas blocked by furniture or barriers.Remove power cords and small objects from the floor to ensure cleaning efficiency. The robot will automatically clean the missed area. Do not move the robot by hand and do not block its path during the cleaning cycle. Ensure floor wax is dry before the robot begins cleaning. Arrange furniture and small objects in the cleaning area in their designated places.
5Robot gets stuck or stops during operationThe robot gets stuck or is blocked by debris.The robot will attempt to free itself multiple times. If unsuccessful, remove the obstacles manually and restart the device.
