Important Safety Instructions
Read all instructions before using this appliance.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been informed on how to use the appliance safely and understand the potential risks. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and routine maintenance must not be performed by children without adult supervision.
- Clear the area to be cleaned. Remove power cords and small objects on the floor that could get caught in the appliance. Fold rug fringes and pull up curtains and tablecloths so they do not trail on the floor.
- If the floor has a slope in the area to be cleaned (e.g., a step or stairs), ensure that the appliance can detect the step without falling. A physical barrier may need to be placed at the edge of the slope to prevent the appliance from falling. Ensure the physical barrier does not pose a tripping hazard.
- Use the appliance only as indicated in this manual. Use only accessories recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
- Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to that indicated on the docking station.
- Intended for indoor domestic use ONLY. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in industrial or commercial environments.
- Use only the rechargeable battery and the original docking station supplied with the appliance by the manufacturer. Non-rechargeable batteries are prohibited.
- Do not use the appliance without a dustbin and/or filter.
- Do not operate the appliance in the presence of lit candles or fragile objects.
- Do not use the appliance in very hot or very cold environments (temperature below -5 °C/23 °F or above 40 °C/104 °F).
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
- Do not operate the appliance in a room where an infant or child is sleeping.
- Do not use the appliance on wet surfaces or surfaces covered with water.
- Do not let the appliance pick up bulky objects such as stones, large pieces of paper, or any object that could obstruct it.
- Do not use the appliance to pick up flammable or combustible materials (gasoline and printer or copier toners, for example) or in areas where these products may be present.
- Do not use the appliance to pick up burning or smoking objects (such as cigarettes, matches, hot ashes) or anything that could cause a fire.
- Do not place objects in the suction head. Do not use the appliance if the suction head is blocked. Remove dust, lint, hair, or anything that may reduce airflow from the suction head.
- Be careful not to damage the power cord. Do not move the appliance or docking station by pulling the power cord, do not use the power cord as a handle, do not pinch the cord in a door, and do not pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run the appliance over the power cord. Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use the docking station if it is damaged. If the power supply is damaged or defective, stop using it and do not attempt to repair it.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord or dustbin is damaged. Do not use the appliance or docking station if they are not functioning correctly, have been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or come into contact with water. It must be repaired by the manufacturer or its service agent to avoid any accident.
- Turn off the power before cleaning or servicing the appliance.
- The cap must be removed from the dustbin before cleaning or servicing the docking station.
- For disposal of the appliance, remove the appliance from the docking station, turn off the power, and remove the battery.
- The battery must be disposed of and recycled in accordance with local laws and regulations before disposing of the appliance.
- Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local laws and regulations.
- Do not incinerate the appliance, even if it is severely damaged. Batteries can explode when exposed to fire.
- If the docking station is not used for a long period, unplug it.
- The appliance must be used in accordance with the instructions in this instruction manual. Our company cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury caused by incorrect use.
- The robot contains batteries that only qualified persons can replace. To replace the robot's battery, contact customer service.
- If the robot is not used for a long period, turn it off to store it. Unplug the docking station.
- WARNING: Only the removable power supply unit supplied with the appliance should be used to recharge the battery.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
To comply with FCC safety requirements for radio frequency exposure and integrated circuits, a distance of at least 20 cm must be maintained between this appliance and individuals when the appliance is in operation. To ensure compliance with these requirements, it is not recommended to use the appliance at a distance less than that indicated. The antenna used for this transmitter must not be located near any other antenna or transmitter.

2. Operation and Programming
2.1 Notes Before Cleaning
- Arrange the area to be cleaned by placing furniture, such as chairs, in their exact positions.
- It may be necessary to place a physical barrier at the edge of a slope to prevent the appliance from falling.
Arrange objects like wires, clothes, and slippers on the floor for optimal cleaning efficiency.
When using the appliance on a low-pile carpet with fringed edges, fold the edges over themselves.
It is important that no one stands in narrow spaces, such as corridors, and that the Robot is not blocked.
2.2 Quick Start

Note: I = ON, O = OFF
It is impossible to charge the Robot if it is not powered off (OFF).
3. Charge the Robot
The button [power-indicator] flashes when the Robot is charging. The button [power-indicator] stops flashing when the Robot is fully charged.

* It is recommended to avoid lifting or moving the Robot during cleaning so that it can return to the charging station.
2.4 Download Lefant Life App
To take advantage of all available features, it is recommended to control your Robot via the Lefant Life application.
Before you start using the robot, make sure:
- Your mobile phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
- The 2.4 GHz wireless signal is enabled on your router.
Coverage
Method 1: Scan the QR code on the device body, download and install the application following the instructions.
Method 2: Open the mobile app store, search for Lefant Life, download and install.

2.5 Network Pairing
• EZ Mode (works only with 2.4G WIFI)
- Turn on the power switch to turn on the robot.
- Press and hold the "Start / Pause" button for about 3 seconds until you hear a beep and release it. The indicator light flashes rapidly and the device enters EZ network configuration mode.

Note: If you encounter a network pairing failure, please restart the robot and try again. Or try the AP mode network pairing method instead.
• AP Mode (Access Point) - works only with 2.4G WIFI
- Turn on the power switch to turn on the robot.
- Press and hold the START/PAUSE button for about 3 seconds and hold for an additional 3 seconds until you hear two beeps. The WiFi indicator flashes slowly and the ROBOT enters AP network configuration mode.

3. If your phone has successfully connected to 2.4G Wi-Fi, you will see the interface below. Select AP mode in the upper right corner. Then, follow the app's guide to set up an access point.

4. Connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network that starts with the name "SmartLife".

After successfully connecting to Wi-Fi, return to the APP and start the network configuration.
2.6 Using the Robot
For the first cleaning, monitor the Robot and assist if necessary.
1. Automatic Cleaning Mode
The robot will clean according to an optimized programmed cleaning pattern designed for hard floors by default.

The robot's control panel stops flashing if it has been paused for several minutes. Press the START/PAUSE button to reactivate the Robot.

* If the Robot is not used for a while, fully charge the Robot then turn it off before storing it. Charge the Robot every 1.5 months to prevent the battery from draining.
* When the Robot is not cleaning, it is recommended to leave it powered on and charging.
8. Suction Power Control
Using the button on the remote control, you can adjust the robot's suction power. There are three level settings: L-Low, M-Medium, H-High. The default level is Medium.
2.7 Schedule Setting
The robot has a time scheduling function. The robot can be programmed to clean automatically at a specific time using the remote control, even if no one is home. The current time and cleaning times are programmed using the remote control. The remote control is a 24-hour system.
* Before setting the current time and cleaning schedule, ensure that the Start/Pause button is always illuminated in blue and that the robot is awake.
* If the robot does not wake up, please press the Start/Pause button on the robot or the remote control button to wake it up.
* The scheduling settings of the remote control are not linked to the APP scheduling settings; cleaning scheduled by the remote control will not affect the APP.
* APP scheduling settings will not affect the remote control's time and scheduling settings.
Set Current Time

[Set day of the week and time] Press the [clock-icon] button, the icon will be displayed on the remote control screen and the week bar will flash.
Select the day of the week by adjusting [up-arrow]/[down-arrow], change the hour and minutes by pressing the [play/pause-button], set the current time by pressing [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to adjust the number.
* If you do not press the [play/pause-button] to save, the current time setting will not be successful. If there is no operation for 10 seconds during the setting process, you will automatically exit the clock setting.
*Note: Each time you press the [play/pause-button] to adjust the hour, one hour will be added or subtracted. Each time you press the [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] button to adjust the minutes, five minutes will be added or one minute will be subtracted.
When the time is adjusted, press the [play/pause-button] to save it, the host will send a "drop" tone and the current time will be set correctly.
* The order of English abbreviations from Monday to Sunday is like MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT SUN.
Fixed Time Reservation

Press the [clock-icon] button, the remote control screen will display the icon and the week bar will flash.
Select the day of the week by adjusting [up-arrow]/[down-arrow], change the hour and minutes by pressing the [play/pause-button], set the current time by pressing [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] to adjust the number.
When the time is adjusted, press the [play/pause-button] to save it, the host will send a "drop" tone and the reservation will be successful. The host will automatically start cleaning at the agreed time every day.
* If you do not press the [play/pause-button] to save, the reservation setting will not be successful. If there is no operation for 10 seconds during the setting process, you will automatically exit the clock setting.
* Note: Each time you press the [play/pause-button] to adjust the hour, one hour will be added or subtracted. Each time you press the [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] button to adjust the minutes, five minutes will be added or one minute will be subtracted.
Cancel Reservation
[Cancel reservation] Set the time to 00:00, press the [down-arrow] button when the minute bit flashes, then press the [play/pause-button] when the icon becomes --:--. to cancel the reservation for that day. The host will send a "drop" tone which means the reservations are canceled.
[Cancel all reservations] Press the [reservation-icon] button for 3 seconds, the icon will disappear and the screen will display --:--. The host will send a "drop" tone which means the reservations are canceled.
When the machine is turned off/removed When replacing or removing the remote control battery, you must reset the current time and reserved time.
3. Maintenance
3.1 Regular Maintenance
To maintain the Robot's optimal performance, perform maintenance tasks and replace parts at the following frequency:

To perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on the Robot, turn it off and unplug the docking station. A multifunction cleaning tool is provided to facilitate maintenance. Handle this tool with care, as its edges are sharp.

4.2 Alarm Sounds
If the Robot detects a problem, it emits an alarm sound and the POWER/PAUSE Button flashes RED or is solid RED.

Helpful Tips: If the above methods do not solve the problem, please try the following operations: Turn on the power switch under the host cover again and restart the device.

5.2 Wi-Fi Connection
Before configuring Wi-Fi, ensure that your Robot, your mobile phone, and your Wi-Fi network meet the requirements listed below.
Robot and Mobile Phone Requirements
- The Robot is fully charged and its power switch is on.
- The robot is ready for network configuration.
- Mobile data on the phone is disabled (you can re-enable it after configuration).
Wi-Fi Network Requirements
- You are using a mixed 2.4 GHz or 2.4/5 GHz network.
- Your router supports 802.11b/g/n protocols and IPv4.
- You are not using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or proxy server.
- You are not using a cached network.
- WPA and WPA2 encryption using TKIP PSK, AES/CCMP.
- WEP EAP (Enterprise Authentication Protocol) is not supported.
- You are using Wi-Fi channels 1-11 if you are in North America and 1-13 outside North America (refer to the local regulatory body).
- If you are using a network extender/repeater, the network name (SSID) and password are the same as your main network.

- Defects caused by mishandling or brutal or inappropriate use or damage caused by accident, misuse, negligence, fire, water, lightning, or other natural acts, external sources such as weather, power outages, or surges.
- Incorrect operation or maintenance, use not in accordance with product instructions, or connection to an incorrect power supply.
- Accident, abuse, misuse, or unauthorized repair, modification, or disassembly of the product.
- Any defect in adequate packaging of the product for transport.
- Use of parts not conforming to product instructions.
- Use of parts and accessories other than those produced or recommended by our company.
- Use in a commercial environment as the product is designed for residential use only.
- Indirect and incidental damages.
- Any product(s) purchased from unauthorized resellers/dealers.
