KuWFi 4G MIFI Quick Start Guide and Configuration
This guide provides instructions for connecting and configuring your KuWFi 4G MIFI portable WiFi router.
Step 1: Connect to WiFi
Connect your device to the 4G MIFI wireless network. The network details are:
- SSID: 4G MIFI ****
- WiFi Key: 1234567890
Step 2 & 3: Login to WebUI
Access the device's Web User Interface (WebUI) by opening a web browser and navigating to the IP address:
IP Address: 192.168.0.1
Log in using the default credentials:
- Username: admin
- Password: admin
Step 4: Set the Correct APN Manually
To ensure proper internet connectivity, you may need to manually configure the APN settings. Query the correct APN details from your SIM card provider or by checking your mobile phone's network settings.
Navigate to the configuration section, typically found under Settings > Network Settings > Dial-up Settings.
Enter the following details:

APN | Enter the Access Point Name provided by your carrier (e.g., ctnet) |
MCC | Mobile Country Code (e.g., 460) |

Connect Mode | Choose the connection mode (e.g., IPV4) |
User Name | Enter your carrier's username if required |
Password | Enter your carrier's password if required |
After entering the details, click Add New or Save to apply the changes.
Step 5: Modify Your WiFi SSID and Password
Customize your WiFi network's name and security settings for better management and security.
Navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi Settings > Basic Settings.
Configure the following options:
- Network Name (SSID): Change the default WiFi network name (e.g., 4GMIFI_6895).
- Broadcast Network Name (SSID): Choose Enable or Disable to control whether the network name is visible to nearby devices.
- Security Mode: Select a security protocol, such as WPA2-PSK(AES), for robust protection.
- Pass Phrase: Set a strong and unique password for your WiFi network (e.g., 1234567890).
- Max Station Number: Specify the maximum number of devices that can connect simultaneously (e.g., 10).
- WIFI sleep time: Configure the device's power-saving behavior when no clients are connected.
Click Apply to save your WiFi settings.
