eufyCam S3 Pro Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up your eufyCam S3 Pro.
What's in the Box
The package contents may vary depending on the kit purchased. Typically includes:

Before Mounting
1. Download eufy Security App
Download and install the eufy Security app. Sign in or create an account.
Setup Process
2. Add HomeBase
Follow the in-app instructions to add your HomeBase.
3. Add Cameras
Follow the in-app instructions to add cameras and sync them with HomeBase. Ensure cameras are within 3.3 ft (1 m) of the HomeBase for initial sync (approx. 2 seconds).
4. Fully Charge the Cameras
Fully charge the cameras before first use. This may take up to 8 hours per camera. A 5V USB charger is required (not provided). You can check the battery level in the app.
5. Check Wi-Fi Signal
Take the camera and your phone to the desired mounting location to test the Wi-Fi signal strength.
6. Mount the Camera
Choosing a Location
Select a mounting location. You may need a screwdriver, a 16/64" (6mm) drill, and a ladder. The camera has a field of view and a motion detection zone. The effective range can be up to 40 ft (12 m).
Position & Drill Holes (for Concrete or Brick Wall)
Skip this step if installing on a wooden wall. Mark the position, drill holes (approx. 6mm), and prepare for mounting.
Install the Mounting Base
Rotate the knob on the mounting bracket to loosen and disassemble. Firmly install the mounting base using the 2 long screws provided.
Mount the Camera
Attach the mounting bracket to the base by turning the large knob clockwise. Hold and screw the camera onto the bracket, then turn the small knob to secure. Do not remove the protective film during installation.
Adjust the Camera Field of View
Rotate the camera to get an optimal angle when viewing the live stream in the eufy Security app.
Tighten the Camera and Complete
Turn the large knob to tighten and secure the camera. Remove the protective film before use.
Mounting Backup Solar Panel
If installing in areas with insufficient sunlight (e.g., under eaves), use the backup solar panel, which works in conjunction with the built-in solar panel. Remove the protective film before use.
