INSTALLING YOUR STORAGE DRIVE (Optional)

For 4-Cam Kit: The S380 HomeBase includes a pre-installed 1TB storage drive for video recordings.

For 2-Cam Kit: A storage drive (not included) is required to store video recordings.

Important Notes:

• [!] The S380 HomeBase must be powered off before installing or removing a storage drive.
• [!] To prevent data loss, transfer any existing data from your storage drive to another location before adding it to the S380 HomeBase.

Installation Steps:

1. Push down the top lid to remove it.
2. Unscrew and take out the storage drive bracket.
3. Fix your storage drive to the bracket using the included screws.
4. Insert and screw the bracket back into the S380 HomeBase, then replace the top lid.

Storage Drive Requirements:

SETTING UP THE SYSTEM

1. Power on the S380 HomeBase and connect it to your router using an Ethernet cable. Wait up to 1 minute for the HomeBase to be ready.
2. Connect your cameras to power using their respective power adapters.
3. Download and install the eufy Security app from the App Store or Google Play. Sign in or create an account.
4. Follow the in-app instructions to add the S380 HomeBase and cameras to your device list.

MOUNTING YOUR CAMERA

Select a Location and a Height

Choose a location within reach of a power outlet. If the distance exceeds 16.4 ft (5 m), consider using a separately sold extension cable.

[!] Important: Disconnect the camera from the power outlet before mounting.

Recommendation: Mount the camera 7-10 ft (2-3 m) above the ground to maximize the detection range.

[!] Note: To ensure optimal image quality and recognition accuracy, do not point the camera lens directly at the sun.

Ensure the camera receives a strong signal from the S380 HomeBase at the chosen location for a smooth video stream.

The camera's field-of-view can cover up to 33 ft (10 m).

Mount the Camera

1. Use the provided position template to drill holes with correct spacing, then mount the camera using the provided screws. Screw anchors are recommended for hard materials like concrete, brick, or stucco.
2. Route the power cable into the waterproof case, connect it to the power adapter, and then plug the adapter into the power outlet.
3. Adjust the camera angle and verify the view using the live stream in the eufy Security app:
   • a. Knob Adjustment: Loosen the knob, adjust the camera angle up or down (optimal 10-25°), and then tighten the knob.
   • b. Bracket Pole Adjustment: Loosen the bracket pole bottom screw, adjust the camera left or right, and then tighten the screw.
   • c. Camera Bottom Adjustment: Loosen the camera bottom screw, adjust the viewing angle, and then tighten the screw.
4. Fasten the cable to the wall using the included cable clips if necessary.

SAFETY

Temperature Ranges:

• E330 eufyCam (Professional) and accessories: -20°C to 45°C (-4°F - 113°F)
• S380 HomeBase and accessories: -10°C to 45°C (14°F - 113°F)
• Recommended for devices and accessories: 5°C to 25°C (41°F - 77°F)

General Safety:

• Do not use the device in environments exceeding recommended temperature limits, unless specified otherwise in the manual.
• Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight or wet environments, unless specified otherwise.
• The power adapter should be installed near the equipment and be easily accessible.
• Use only power adapters supplied or approved by the manufacturer. Unauthorized adapters may cause danger and void the warranty.
• The power adapter is for indoor use only. The plug serves as the disconnect device.

Warning: Battery Safety

• Replacing a battery with an incorrect type may bypass safeguards and create danger.
• Disposing of a battery in fire, heat, by crushing, or cutting may result in explosion and leakage of flammable liquids and gases.
• Leaving a battery in extremely hot environments may cause explosion and leakage.
• A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may cause explosion and leakage.

Attention: Battery Safety (French content integrated)

[!] CAUTION: Lithium button/coin cell batteries are hazardous. Keep away from children. If swallowed or placed inside the body, they can cause severe or fatal injuries within 2 hours. Seek immediate medical attention if suspected.

Internal battery replacement should only be performed by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified personnel.
