Soundcore App
Download the Soundcore app to enhance your experience with features such as heart rate monitoring, spatial audio, ambient sound modes, HearID Sound, custom controls, and firmware updates. If your earbuds cannot connect to the Soundcore app, update the app to the latest version from your mobile app store.
Usage & Fit Test
Select the earbuds that best fit your ears and perform a fit test in the Soundcore app to ensure you achieve the best Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) performance.
Charging
1. Place the earbuds in the charging case and close it. Ensure earbuds and the USB-C charging port are clean before charging.
2. Connect the charging case to a power supply using a certified USB-C charging cable. Alternatively, the charging case can be placed in the center of a wireless charger for wireless charging.
Charge both earbuds and the charging case fully before using them for the first time.
Powering On & Pairing
The earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode when the charging case is opened. For the first connection, select "soundcore Liberty 4" from your device's Bluetooth list.
Manual Pairing: To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode, place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open. Press and hold the button on the charging case for 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash white rapidly.
Dual Connections
The earbuds can connect to two devices simultaneously, allowing you to switch between them effortlessly. To pair with another device, go to Settings and select "Two Connections" > "Connect New Device".
Controls
You can customize controls for audio, voice assistant, and ambient sound modes within the Soundcore app. Note: These controls may not apply to calls.

Sound Features
Spatial Audio
Spatial Audio places sound around you to create an immersive listening experience. You can activate and customize Spatial Audio in the Soundcore app.
- Head Tracking: Experience surround sound that follows the movement of your head.
- Fixed: Listen to Spatial Audio without head tracking.
Ambient Sound Modes
You can choose between HearID ANC, Transparency, or Normal modes in the Soundcore app.
- HearID ANC: Perform an ear canal test to personalize your noise reduction experience.
- Transparency: Stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music.
LDAC Support
Use devices powered by Android 8.0 or newer to experience audio in LDAC quality. LDAC provides higher quality audio, increases power consumption, and reduces playtime. Activate LDAC in an environment with low interference for a stable Bluetooth connection.
- Select "Sound Effects".
- Click "Hi-Res Audio".
- You will be notified if your earbuds do not support LDAC when connected to two devices. Select "Confirm" to proceed.
- Codec switching takes approximately 10 seconds. You may be prompted to update firmware if a newer version is available.
Soundcore Wellness
The Soundcore Wellness feature allows for heart rate monitoring, stress detection, workout tracking, and other parameters. These functions require wearing the right earbud.
Usage & Maintenance
Auto Playback & Pause
Playback automatically stops when you remove an earbud and resumes when you reinsert it. Use a single earbud to automatically answer an incoming call.
Auto Power-Off
To turn off, place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. The earbuds will automatically power off after 30 minutes if they are not in use and not connected. The duration can be adjusted in the Soundcore app.
Resetting the Earbuds
Reset the earbuds if they have trouble pairing with each other or with other devices. First, clear the Bluetooth pairing log from your device. Place the earbuds in the charging case, leave the lid open, and press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash white rapidly three times.

Firmware Updates
When you connect the earbuds to the app, you will be notified immediately when a new firmware version is detected. The earbuds must be in the charging case with the lid open for the firmware update to complete. Ensure the earbuds are charging during the update and do not use them.
