Introduction
This guide provides instructions for the standalone installation of the Fortin EVO-ALL module for automatic transmission vehicles. It is compatible with Jeep Compass models from 2020 to 2025 equipped with a push-to-start system.
Important Note: This product is ONLY compatible with automatic transmission vehicles.

*Hood Status: The hood pin switch must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set Function A11 to OFF.
Firmware Information
Minimum Firmware Version Required: 68.[02]
To update the firmware and options, use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool (sold separately).

Mandatory Installation Components
- Hood Pin: This is a mandatory safety element and must be installed. If the vehicle can be remote started with the hood open, set Function A11 to OFF.
- Valet Switch: This is an essential security element and must be installed.
Warning: This module must be installed by a qualified technician. Incorrect wiring can cause permanent damage to the vehicle.
Configuration Options
Stand Alone Configuration
- OEM Remote Stand Alone: Program bypass option for original remote.
- OEM Remote: Program bypass option with original remote.
- RF KIT Antenna: Program bypass option with RF Kit antenna.
Remote Starter Functionality
- To remote start or stop the vehicle, press the OEM remote's Lock button 3 times.
Programming Procedures
DCRYPTOR Programming Procedure
Follow these steps to program the module using the DCRYPTOR:
- Press and hold the programming button, then insert the 4-Pin (Data-Link) connector. Observe LED illumination.
- Release the programming button when the LED is BLUE. If the LED is not solid BLUE, repeat the step.
- Insert remaining connectors.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn ON the ignition.
- Press and release the programming button once. The BLUE LED will flash rapidly.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn OFF the ignition. The BLUE LED will turn OFF, and the RED LED will turn ON.
- Press the Push-to-Start button once to turn ON the ignition. The YELLOW LED will turn ON, and the RED LED will turn OFF.
- Repeat the process approximately 10 times until the RED and YELLOW LEDs alternate at ignition OFF.
- Disconnect all connectors, including the Data-Link (4-pins) connector.
- Use the FLASH LINK UPDATER or FLASH LINK MOBILE tool to visit the DCRYPTOR menu.
After programming, reconnect the Data-Link connector and all other connectors.
Optional RF-Kit Programming
Follow the specific instructions for programming the RF-KIT Series 4 or Series 9.
- Program Bypass Option: H2 (Supported RF-KITS enable, H2 Fortin 2)
- Activation RF Kits: Supported H2 Fortin 2

Remote Starter Verification
Test the remote starter by initiating a remote start sequence.
Notes and Warnings
- 12V Battery: The T-Harness current is limited to 5 AMP MAXIMUM. If a parking lights (+) wire requiring more than 5A is used, connect the remote starter's power directly to the vehicle's battery with an appropriate fuse.
- Some remote starters cannot be powered through Data-Link. Connect the 12V power wire directly to the T-Harness in such cases.
- Safety Elements: The hood pin and valet switch are mandatory safety elements.
