To optimize the water softener, set the water hardness level according to your local water supplier's information. Factory setting is default.
- Switch on appliance.
- Switch off appliance.
- Hold down button for 5 seconds (beep).

- Lids, handles, trays, and pans must not obstruct sprayer arms.
- Place small items in the cutlery basket.
- Place heavily soiled dishes and pans in the lower basket for stronger spray.
- Ensure sprayer arms can rotate freely after loading.

Preventing unpleasant odours
Keep the door ajar to avoid moisture. Clean door seals and detergent dispensers regularly with a damp sponge.
Checking the water supply hose

Cleaning the water inlet hose
If hoses are new or unused, run water until clear before connecting to prevent blockages.
Cleaning the filter assembly
Clean filters regularly to prevent clogging and ensure proper drainage. Clogged filters can cause malfunction, noise, or increased resource usage. The assembly has three filters. Never remove the wash-cycle pump protection.
- Turn cylindrical filter A anticlockwise and pull out.
- Remove cup filter B by pressing side flaps.
- Slide out stainless-steel plate filter C.
- Remove any foreign objects carefully.
- Inspect trap and remove food residues.
Replace filter assembly correctly after cleaning.
Cleaning the spray arms
Food residue can clog spray arm holes. Clean arms periodically with a non-metallic brush. To remove upper spray arm, turn locking ring clockwise; reinsert with more holes facing upwards. Lower spray arm is removed by pulling upwards and rotating anticlockwise.
