Prepare Before Use

This chapter covers function jacks and provides information before playing. Read these items before turning on the power switch.

Power Connection

  1. Ensure the power switch is off.
  2. Connect the power cord to the DC jack on the back of the piano, then plug the adapter into the power outlet.
  3. Set all volume controllers to minimum before powering on.
  4. When turning off the power, set all volume controllers to minimum before turning off the power switch.

Warning: Unplug the piano when not in use or during thunderstorms. Ensure the power supply is 220V ± 10% AC. The power socket should be grounded. Do not remove the power cord while the piano is on.

Socket on the Back of the Host

The back of the host features the following ports:

Headphone Port

The bottom left side of the host has two headphone ports (Port 1 and Port 2).

Three-Pedal Interface

The piano includes a damper pedal, a sostenuto pedal, and a soft pedal, similar to a traditional grand piano.

Damper Pedal

Pressing the damper pedal sustains notes. Releasing it immediately closes the portamento effect. Pressing and holding the pedal extends the current note and previously played notes.

Sostenuto Pedal

Pressing the sostenuto pedal while holding a note sustains that note, allowing subsequent notes to be played staccato. This is useful for sustaining chords or bass notes.

Soft Pedal

Pressing the soft pedal reduces volume and changes the timbre. Notes played before pressing the pedal are unaffected.

Caution: Ensure the pedal support screw is installed and grounded before depressing the pedal.
