PIANO ASSEMBLY

Before you are ready to assemble the piano, please check if all parts are included in the package box.

Electrical Piano Overall Assembly

The assembly involves connecting the main piano body to the stand boards and attaching the back plate and pedal box. The process includes:

  1. Installing anti-tilt corner brackets.
  2. Using screws (M6x30) to fix the pedal box onto the left and right stand boards, ensuring correct orientation.
  3. Using screws (M6x30) to fix the back plate onto the body leg.
  4. Placing the main piano body onto the assembled legs and securing it with screws (M6x30) from the bottom.
  5. Inserting the pedal cord and power cord into the back panel and powering on the piano.

The assembly diagram shows the piano body (1), left stand board (2), right stand board (3), back plate (4), pedal box (5), corner bracket (6), and screws (7).

Key Cover

  1. Open the Key Cover: Lift the cover slightly, then push forward and slide it to the end.
  2. Close the Key Cover: Pull the cover back toward you and gently put it down over the keys.

CAUTION: Hold the key cover with both hands when opening or closing. Do not release until fully opened or closed. Avoid catching fingers between the key cover and the main unit. Do not place metal plates or paper on the key cover, as small items may slip into the piano, causing potential damage or hazards. Ensure the key cover is closed when moving the piano. Do not apply excessive force to the music stand.

Music Stand

Erect the Music Stand:

  1. Pull out the stand completely towards the front of the piano.
  2. Turn down two metal supports on each side of the rear of the stand.
  3. Lean the music stand against the metal supports.

PANEL INSTRUCTION

Control Panel

The control panel features a DISPLAY SCREEN, POWER button, VOL/FUN knob, and FUNCTION button.

Back Panel

The back panel includes the following ports: DC-12V, AUX OUT, USB-MIDI, and PEDAL.

Base Plate

The base plate has two Stereo Headphones Sockets.

EXTERNAL CONNECTION

Power Cord Connecting

  1. Connect the power cord to the power socket behind the piano.
  2. Plug the other end of the power adapter into a 100V-220V domestic power socket.
  3. Unplug the power cord and store it properly when not in use for an extended period.

A diagram shows the connection of a DC-12V input to an AC power adapter, which then connects to an AC power socket.

Pedal Connecting

The piano supports three pedals:

  • Soft Pedal: Depressing this pedal softens the sound and reduces its volume.
  • Sostenuto Pedal: Depressing this pedal sustains the sound of only the notes that have been played.
  • Sustain Pedal: Depressing this pedal sustains the sound after the player's hands have been lifted from the keyboard.

A diagram illustrates the three pedals labeled Soft, Sostenuto, and Sustain.

Headphones Connecting

Insert stereo headphones into the headphones output socket on the bottom of the piano for private practice or late-night playing. Avoid wearing headphones at high volume for extended periods to prevent hearing damage.

Audio Devices Connecting

The input/output socket (AUX OUT) on the back panel can connect to stereo audio systems, mixers, or other audio devices. Ensure all connected equipment is powered off before connecting or disconnecting. Turn down the volume of all devices to minimum before powering them on.

A diagram shows connection to a STEREOSYSTEM via AUX OUT.

Computer Connecting

The USB socket functions as a MIDI Jack for direct computer connection. Connect one end of the USB cable to the piano and the other end to the computer's USB socket for two-way signal transmission, allowing you to play computer MIDI data on the piano. When setting up computer software, do not set the USB audio device to Input & Output simultaneously to avoid sound overlap. Do not use a USB hub when using a USB connecting cable.

A diagram illustrates a USB-MIDI connection to a computer.

AUTO POWER OFF

In standby mode, the piano will automatically shut down after 30 minutes of inactivity. This feature can be enabled or disabled as needed.
