How to Use
I. Install the Aluminium Heat Exchanger
This step ensures efficient heat dissipation for the M.2 SSD.
- Carefully remove the protective surface layer from both the Aluminium Heat Exchanger and the Silicone Thermal Pad.
- Apply the Silicone Thermal Pad onto the surface of the M.2 SSD.
- Place the Aluminium Heat Exchanger onto the thermal pad, ensuring it is sandwiched between the SSD and the heat exchanger for optimal thermal contact.

II. 80mm M.2 SSD Installation
Instructions for installing an 80mm length M.2 SSD into the enclosure.
- Press the lock button (labeled 'A' in diagrams) on the enclosure to release the internal assembly.
- Gently pull out the mainboard assembly from the enclosure.
- Insert the M.2 SSD diagonally downwards into the PCIe/NVMe slot on the mainboard. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Gently press down on the M.2 SSD with your fingers to snap it into the plastic retaining clip (labeled 'B' in diagrams). This secures the SSD. To disassemble, push the clip outward in the opposite direction to release the SSD.

Important Notes
- The M.2 SSD adapter must not be unplugged from the PC during data transfer under any circumstances. Doing so may result in data loss.
- Upon connection, your PC/notebook's operating system will initialize the M.2 SSD. This process may take up to one minute. If the SSD is already partitioned and contains data, you will be able to access it.
- New or unpartitioned SSDs require partitioning and formatting after initialization. Refer to your computer/notebook's operating system manual for the necessary steps.
- This enclosure features an M Key interface, which is part of the PCIe/NVMe protocol channel. When installing an SSD for this product, please ensure you check compatibility.
- Install the SSD as gently as possible to avoid scratching components on the printed circuit board. Be mindful of static electricity when installing SSDs. For safety, it is recommended to disconnect all power sources before proceeding with the installation.
- Before attempting to disassemble the enclosure, it is recommended to save all data properly on your SSD to prevent any loss.
- As Windows 10 and later, along with Mac OS, offer the best compatibility with NVMe, this product is recommended for optimal transmission performance on these operating systems.
