The package includes:

Connecting the AC Adaptor

  1. Connect the small end of the AC adaptor to the DC5V port on the back of the speaker.
  2. Plug the AC adaptor into a power outlet.
  3. Slide the [Power ON/OFF] switch to the ON position.

Using the AM/FM Radio

Adjusting the Sound: Turn the Volume dial on the left side of the system.

Selecting an FM Radio Station:

  1. Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to the ON position.
  2. Set the Function Knob to the FM position.
  3. Turn the FM radio dial to select an FM radio station.

Selecting an AM Radio Station:

  1. Switch the AM/FM button to AM.
  2. Turn the FM radio dial to select the AM channel you want.

Antenna: For best FM reception, extend the wire antenna located at the back of the unit and move it until you get the best reception.

Using the CD Player

Loading a CD:

  1. Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON and set the Function Knob to CD.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray. Do not force it open by hand.
  3. Place the CD on the CD tray with the label side facing upwards.
  4. Press OPEN/CLOSE to close the CD tray.

Playing CDs:

Using the Cassette Player

  1. Turn the Volume dial - Power ON/OFF dial to the ON position.
  2. Turn the Function dial to the TAPE position.
  3. Insert the Cassette tape into the Cassette Deck on the left side panel.

Tape Eject / Fast Forward Button:

Using the Turntable

  1. Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON. Set the Function dial to the PH (phonograph) position.
  2. Place the record on the turntable.
  3. Select the speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) according to the vinyl record.
  4. Remove the stylus guard. Push the lift lever upward to raise the tone arm from its park. Move the cartridge holder gently over the record. The platter will start running automatically. Slowly lower the lever; the tone arm will lower and touch the record surface gently.
  5. Push the arm lift lever up to raise the arm. Playback will pause, but the platter will continue running. To resume playing, adjust the lever to lower the arm.

How to Replace the Stylus

To replace the needle, follow these instructions:

Removing the Needle from the Cartridge:

Pairing the Speaker with a Bluetooth Enabled Device

  1. Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON.
  2. Turn the Function dial to the BT (Bluetooth) position.
  3. The word "BLUE" will flash quickly on the LED screen.
  4. Keep the speaker and your Bluetooth-enabled device within 3 feet of each other during pairing.
  5. Set your Bluetooth-enabled device to search for Bluetooth devices.
  6. When your device finds the speaker, select "AR3001" from the list of found devices.
  7. If required, enter the password "0000". Select OK or Yes to pair.
  8. After successful pairing, the word "BLUE" will remain solid on the LED screen.

If no paired devices are in range when the speaker is turned on, it will automatically enter pairing mode. If a paired device is in range, the speaker will connect to it automatically.

Using as a Wired Speaker

  1. Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF knob to ON.
  2. Set the Function Knob to the AUX position. The word "LINE" will appear on the LCD.
  3. Connect the two ends of the included Audio cable to the AUX-IN port on the back of the speaker (white end into white port, red end into red port).
  4. Insert the 3.5mm Auxiliary end of the cable into the output jack on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet.
  5. Open a media player on your device and click Play to start your music.

This compact disc player should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel. The laser mechanism in the set corresponds to the stylus (needle) of a record player. Although this product uses a laser pick-up lens, it is completely safe when operated according to directions.

If this product is defective or does not perform properly, you may return it within ninety (90) days from your original date of purchase to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.
