Location of Controls
The speaker has the following controls on its back panel:
- 1. 3.5 mm Auxiliary Input Jack
- 2. Bluetooth LED Indicator

- 5. [POWER] Switch (Off/On)

Using the Speaker
Charging the Speaker
Insert the small connector of the supplied micro-USB cable into the Micro-USB Charging Port on the back of the speaker. Insert the large connector into a USB port on a computer, USB charging device, or a 5V USB adapter (not included) and plug into a wall socket.
The Charging LED Indicator will turn solid RED while charging and turn off when fully charged.
Powering ON/OFF
Turn the speaker ON/OFF by moving the [POWER] switch. A tone will be heard, indicating that the speaker is powered ON.

Playing Music
To enjoy music wirelessly, ensure the speaker is properly paired to your Bluetooth-enabled device. Once paired, playback and volume adjustment are controlled through your paired device.
If pairing for the first time, consult the "Pairing the Speaker" section.
If using a wired device, consult the "Using with a Wired Device" section.
Pairing the Speaker (Bluetooth)
1. Move the [POWER] switch to the ON position. A tone will be heard, and the Bluetooth LED Indicator will quickly flash BLUE.
2. On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices. Select "AR520" from the list of found devices.
3. Once successfully paired, a tone will be heard, and the Bluetooth LED Indicator will slowly flash BLUE.
[!] If a previously paired device is in range when the speaker is turned on, it will automatically re-connect.
On iOS and Android Devices
Navigate to Settings -> Bluetooth. The screenshots provided are typical examples for pairing Bluetooth devices. Your device's interface may differ slightly.

Using with a Wired Device (AUX)
Insert one connector of a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable (not included) into the 3.5 mm auxiliary input jack on the back of the speaker. Insert the other connector into the headphone jack of your media-playing device.
When the 3.5 mm auxiliary input jack is in use, all Bluetooth connections are automatically disabled until the cable is removed.

[!] This product is fitted with a Li-ion battery. Do not damage, open, or dismantle the battery. Do not use it in damp and/or corrosive conditions. Use only with compatible chargers. Never dispose of batteries in a fire, and never expose them to high temperatures. Do not expose the product to temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F).
[!] The crossed-out garbage bin symbol means that you must not dispose of this product together with unsorted household waste.
Rain/Moisture Warning
- Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures (heat or cold), open flames, humid conditions, or wet conditions.
- Do not submerge in water.
- Do not open this product or attempt to repair the unit yourself should it not be working.
Limited Warranty
90 Days Limited Warranty
In the unlikely event that this product is defective, or does not perform properly, you may within ninety (90) days from your original date of purchase return it to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.
TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:
- Go to the Southern Telecom website portal to receive an SRO number.
- Provide proof of the date of purchase within the package (dated bill of sale).
- Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center, and remember to insure your return.
- Include a return shipping address (no. P.O. Boxes), a telephone contact number, and the defective unit within the package.
- Describe the defect or reason for returning the product.
Your product will be repaired or replaced, at the option of Southern Telecom, for the same or similar model of equal value if examination by the service center determines the product is defective. Products received damaged as a result of shipping will require you to file a claim with the carrier.

Warranty Service Not Provided
This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, lack of reasonable care, and unauthorized modification. This warranty is voided in the event any unauthorized person opens, alters, or repairs this product. All products being returned to the authorized service center for repair must be suitably packaged.
Limitation of Warranty
The warranty stated above is the only warranty applicable to this product. All other warranties, express or implied (including all implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) are hereby disclaimed. No verbal or written information given by ART+SOUND, its agents, or employees shall create a guaranty or in any way increase the scope of this warranty.
Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the consumer. ART+SOUND shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product or arising out of any breach of any express or implied warranty on this product. This disclaimer of warranties and limited warranty are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited to the applicable warranty period set forth above.
Some states do not allow the exclusion nor limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
