This document provides instructions for operating the ART+SOUND AR4001 Retro 6-in-1 Entertainment System.

Location of Controls
Front Panel Controls
The front panel features the following controls:
- 1. Turntable cover: Protective cover for the turntable.
- 2. Volume dial - Power ON/OFF: Controls volume and powers the unit on/off.
- 3. AM/FM Radio tuner: Dial for selecting radio stations.
- 4. Function dial: Selects the operating mode (e.g., Bluetooth, CD, FM, AM, TAPE, PH).
- 5. Prev button: Skips to the previous track or station.
- 6. Next button: Skips to the next track or station.
- 7. AM/FM button: Switches between AM and FM radio bands.
- 8. CD Tray: Compartment for the CD.
- 9. PLAY/PAUSE button: Starts or pauses playback.
- 10. STOP button: Stops playback.
- 11. CD OPEN/CLOSE button: Opens or closes the CD tray.
- 12. LED display: Shows current status, track information, etc.
Back Panel Controls
The back panel includes:
- 13. AUX input: Port for connecting external audio devices via cable.
- 14. DC IN port: Port for connecting the AC power adaptor.
- 15. FM antenna: Wire antenna for improved FM reception.
Side Panel Controls
- 23. Tape Eject/Fast-Forward button: Ejects the cassette or fast-forwards.
- 24. Cassette deck: Slot for inserting cassette tapes.
Turntable Components
- 15. Turntable pickup: The stylus (needle) that reads the record.
- 16. Tone arm: Holds the pickup and is placed on the record.
- 17. Speed control switch: Selects playback speed (33, 45, 78 RPM).
- 18. Tone arm lock: Secures the tone arm when not in use.
- 19. Control perch: Rest for the tone arm.
- 20. 45 RPM adaptor: Adapter for records with large center holes.
- 21. Turntable: The rotating platter where the record is placed.
Connecting the AC Adaptor
- Connect the small end of the AC adaptor to the DC5V port on the back of the unit.
- Plug the AC adaptor into a power outlet.
- Slide the [Power ON/OFF] switch to the ON position.
Using the AM/FM Radio
Adjusting the Sound
Turn the Volume dial on the left side of the system to adjust the sound level.
Selecting an FM Radio Station
- Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to the ON position.
- Set the Function Knob to the FM position.
- Turn the FM radio tuner dial to select an FM radio station.
Selecting an AM Radio Station
- Switch the AM/FM button to AM.
- Turn the FM radio tuner dial to select the AM channel.
Antenna
For best FM reception, extend the wire antenna located at the back of the unit and move it to find the optimal position for clear reception.
Using the CD Player
Loading a CD
- Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON and set the Function Knob to CD.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray. Do not force it open manually.
- Place the CD on the tray with the label side facing upwards.
- Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the CD tray.
Playing CDs
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start or pause playback. The LED screen will show [||] when paused.
- Press the STOP button to cease playback.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to resume playback.
- Use the PREV/NEXT buttons to navigate between tracks.
Using the Cassette Player
- Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON.
- Turn the Function dial to the TAPE position.
- Insert a cassette tape into the Cassette Deck on the left side panel.
Tape Eject / Fast Forward Button
- Quick press the button to fast forward the tape.
- Press and hold the button inward to eject the cassette.
- The tape will stop automatically when it finishes playing.
Using the Turntable
- Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON. Set the Function dial to the PH (phonograph) position.
- Place the record on the turntable.
- Select the correct speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) for the record.
- Remove the stylus guard. Push the lift lever upward to raise the tone arm. Gently move the tone arm over the record. The platter will start rotating automatically. Slowly lower the lift lever to place the stylus on the record.
- To pause playback, push the arm lift lever up. The platter will continue to spin. Lower the lever to resume playing.
How to Replace the Stylus
Follow these steps to replace the needle:
- a. Removing the Needle from the Cartridge: Place a screwdriver at the tip of the needle head and push downwards as shown in the diagram.
- b. Remove the needle head shell: Pull it forwards and push downwards.
Pairing the Speaker with a Bluetooth Enabled Device
- Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF dial to ON.
- Turn the Function dial to the BT (Bluetooth) position. The word "BLUE" will flash quickly on the LED screen.
- Keep the turntable and your Bluetooth device within 3 feet (approx. 1 meter) of each other during pairing.
- Set your Bluetooth device to search for Bluetooth devices.
- When your device finds the turntable, select "AR4001" from the list.
- If prompted, enter the password "0000". Select OK or Yes to pair.
- After successful pairing, the word "BLUE" will remain solid on the LED screen.
If no paired devices are in range when the speaker turns on, it enters pairing mode automatically. If a paired device is in range, it will connect automatically.
Note: The interface of your Bluetooth device may differ slightly from the illustrations provided.
Using as a Wired Speaker (AUX Input)
- Turn the Volume / Power ON/OFF knob to ON.
- Set the Function Knob to the AUX position. The word "LINE" will appear on the LCD.
- Connect the included Audio cable to the AUX-IN port on the back of the speaker (white end to white port, red end to red port, if applicable, otherwise connect as indicated).
- Connect the 3.5mm Auxiliary end of the cable to the output jack on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet.
- Open a media player on your device and press Play to start listening.

Limited Warranty
90 Days Limited Warranty
If this product is defective or does not perform properly, you may return it within ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase to the authorized service center for repair or exchange.
To Obtain Warranty Service:
- Call the Customer Support number or visit the website to receive an SRO number.
- Provide proof of purchase (dated bill of sale) with the return package.
- Prepay all shipping costs to the authorized service center and insure your return.
- Include a return shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), a telephone contact number, and the defective unit in the package.
- Describe the defect or reason for return.
Your product will be repaired or replaced, at the option of the service center, with a similar model of equal value if examination determines it is defective. Products received damaged due to shipping require filing a claim with the carrier.
