Installation

Connect the keyboard cable to a free USB port on your computer. Please wait approximately 15 seconds for the drivers to install completely.

For advanced features, download and install the dedicated software from the official Genesis website: www.genesis-zone.com. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation.

Once installation is complete, a software icon will appear in the system tray. Double-clicking this icon will open the software interface for settings customization.

Key Features and Operations

• Switch Replacement

  To replace a switch: Disconnect the keyboard. Gently pull the keycap upwards. Use the provided metal clamp to secure under the switch body. Push the clamp arms towards the switch and pull the switch vertically upwards. Insert the new switch vertically into the PCB holes and press gently. Reattach the keycap and reconnect the keyboard. Note: Ensure switch legs are correctly aligned and not bent for proper function.

• Arrow Function Swap

  Swap the functionality of the arrow keys with the W, A, S, D keys by pressing FN + W.

• Backlight Brightness Control

  Adjust backlight brightness using FN + ↑ (Up Arrow) or FN + ↓ (Down Arrow).

• Backlight Effect Speed

  Modify the speed of backlight effects with FN + ← (Left Arrow) or FN + → (Right Arrow).

• Backlight Color Change

  Change the backlight color by pressing FN + Del.

• Backlight Mode Change

  Cycle through 20 different backlight modes by pressing FN + Ins.

• Game Backlight Modes

  Select from 5 pre-set game backlight modes by pressing FN + 1 through FN + 5.

• Restore Factory Settings

  To reset all settings to their default factory state, press and hold FN + ESC for 5 seconds.
