Installation
Pairing via Bluetooth
- Slide the ON/OFF switch located at the bottom of the keyboard to the ON position.
- Turn ON Bluetooth on the device you want to pair with the keyboard.
- Hold the keys FN + BT1 | BT2 | BT3 for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode. The LED indicator will start flashing rapidly.
- Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "Thor 660" from the list.
- After successful pairing, the LED on the keyboard will stop flashing. The keyboard is ready for use.
Note: The keyboard can be paired with up to 3 devices, which can be switched by pressing the FN + BT1 | BT2 | BT3 keys.
Connecting to Previously Paired Device
- Turn ON Bluetooth on the device that was previously paired with the keyboard.
- Turn ON or wake up the keyboard from hibernation (sleep mode) by pressing any key.
- Select the required device by short pressing FN + BT1 | BT2 | BT3.
- The keyboard will automatically connect with the device.
Note: The device is equipped with intelligent energy management. When the keyboard enters hibernation mode, press any key to revive it. The keyboard has an ON/OFF switch to save battery power when not in use for extended periods.
Connecting via USB Receiver
- Slide the ON/OFF switch located at the bottom of the keyboard to the ON position.
- Connect the included USB receiver to a free USB port on your device.
- The operating system will automatically install the required drivers.
- Press the FN + 2.4G buttons to switch to 2.4 GHz connection mode.
- After successful pairing, the LED indicator on the keyboard will light up red. The keyboard is ready for use.
Troubleshooting USB Receiver Pairing
If you encounter issues connecting the keyboard with the USB receiver, perform the pairing procedure: Disconnect the USB receiver, then hold down the FN + 2.4G buttons for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes rapidly. Reconnect the USB receiver; the keyboard should pair automatically.
Wired Connection via USB Cable
- Slide the ON/OFF switch located at the bottom of the keyboard to the OFF position.
- Turn ON your computer or other compatible device.
- Connect the cable to a free USB port on your computer. Allow approximately 15 seconds for the drivers to install completely during the first connection.
- The keyboard includes software for advanced feature customization. Download and install it from www.genesis-zone.com.
- Open the installation folder and double-click the
setup.exe
file. Follow the on-screen instructions. - After successful installation, the software icon will appear in the system tray. Double-clicking it opens the settings interface.
Note: The software communicates with the keyboard exclusively via USB cable. All saved settings are stored in the keyboard's memory and remain accessible even after disconnecting the cable and switching to wireless mode.
Charging the Battery
- Connect the included USB-C cable to the keyboard.
- Connect the USB plug to a suitable power source (max. output DC 5V 0.5A).
- When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator located under the left Shift key will turn green.
Note: When the battery level is low, the FN key will flash, and the keyboard will enter power-saving mode, turning off the backlight.
Caution: To preserve battery health, charge it every 3 months if the keyboard is not used for an extended period. Long-term storage with a low battery level or using chargers exceeding 5V 0.5A may damage the battery.
Key Functions
Arrow Function Change
Press the FN + W keys to swap the arrow key functions with the W, A, S, D keys.
Backlight Control
- Backlight Mode Change: Press FN + TAB to cycle through 19 backlight modes.
- Backlight Brightness: Press FN + U/I to adjust brightness levels.
- Backlight Color Change: Press FN + Right CTRL to change the backlight color.
- Speed of Backlight Effects: Press FN + Right Shift to adjust the speed of backlight effects.
Custom Backlight Mode
This mode allows individual key illumination settings.
- To select Custom Backlight Mode, briefly press FN + Z.
- To enter recording mode, hold down FN + Z for approximately 5 seconds.
- Press the desired key 1-8 times to select one of eight predefined colors.
- Press FN + Z again to exit recording mode and save your settings.
