Product Overview
The Huawei B525 LTE CPE provides high-speed mobile broadband connectivity. Key indicators include Power, Network Status, Wi-Fi/WPS, LAN/WAN, and Signal Strength. Ports available are Power Input, LAN/WAN, External Antenna sockets, USB, Landline Phone port, Reset button, micro-SIM card slot, and a Power button.
Setup
To set up your router:
- Insert a micro-SIM card into the designated slot.
- Connect the power adapter to the router.
The router will automatically power on and search for available mobile networks. Indicators will show connection status and signal strength. Ensure the SIM card is inserted correctly and avoid removing it while the router is operating.
Connecting to Your Router's Wi-Fi Network
Once the router is connected to a mobile network, you can connect your devices (computer, smartphone) to its Wi-Fi network. Use the default wireless network name (SSID) and password (Wi-Fi KEY) found on the label at the bottom of the router. For security, it is recommended to change the default Wi-Fi network name and password via the web-based management page.
Configuring Your Router
The router can be configured using its web-based management page. Access it using the default IP address, username, and password provided on the router's label. Users will be prompted to change the default login password for enhanced security.
