When a full system replacement is not a chosen option, a partial Daikin FIT AC or HP system is now a possibility. Also, the D24V Gateway offers a great comfort upgrade solution for homes with only heating/furnaces.
The Daikin D24V Gateway allows you to connect to any non-communicating gas furnace when a communicating indoor unit is not a chosen option when installing with the Daikin FIT condenser and coil. The D24V Gateway is compatible with the following:
- Daikin FIT AC/HP ODU
- CAPEA / CHPEA / CAHEA EEV Coil
- Daikin ONE+ and Daikin ONE touch smart thermostats
- Daikin ONE ecosystem line of IAQ solutions compatible (see below)
System Compatibility
Compatible with all Non-Communicating Gas Furnaces (Any Manufacturer)! Compatible with North and Southeast models only.

Visual Overview
The Daikin D24V Gateway system integrates with your existing heating setup. Key components include:
- Daikin FIT Outdoor Unit (ODU): The outdoor component of the Daikin FIT air conditioning or heat pump system.
- EEV Coil (CAPEA / CHPEA / CAHEA): Electronic Expansion Valve coils that regulate refrigerant flow.
- D24V Gateway (DTA119A73): The central unit that bridges the non-communicating furnace with the Daikin system.

Quick Mount Installation
Mount the D24V Gateway adaptor for R-32 AC (R-32/R-410A) and HP (R-32 only) on a place which has sufficient strength and stability. To avoid damage to the DTA119A73, DO NOT mount the adaptor to any:
- Supply duct.
- Location with risk of vibration or water droplets.
- Air handler, furnace, hot water coil, or evaporator coil directly.
Dehumidification Settings
The system offers field-selectable dehumidification settings to accommodate homeowner preferences. It is recommended to use setting "B" as a starting point and adjust as applicable for region or customer preference. Refer to page 12 of the installation manual for detailed instructions.
Important Compatibility Notes
The D24V Gateway is compatible with the following items: Daikin FIT AC, CAPEA, CAHEA or CHPEA cased coils and Daikin ONE+ thermostats. Compatibility is limited to North and Southeast models only.
The DTA119A72 was a viable D24V gateway solution for both R-32 and R-410A Daikin FIT AC, but not R-32 HP. All future produced D24V Gateways will be model DTA119A73 and will be compatible with both AC and HP listed in this flyer.
