You can use your machine immediately or charge it partially. Connect the charger directly to the machine or place it in the dock. Blue LEDs on the battery flash during charging and remain lit for five seconds when fully charged (displaying 100%). Charging your click-in battery

If you have additional click-in batteries, alternate them for consistent performance.

Compressing dust

To compress dust in the bin, push the red compression lever down and then move it back up. The machine's power will cut out during compression.

Emptying your bin

Empty the bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX level to maintain performance and avoid inaccurate particle readings. Ensure the machine power is turned off before emptying.

  2. Release the dirt: Compress the bin contents. Hold the machine over a bin, pointing downwards. Push the silver bin release lever to open the bin base, then firmly push the red compression lever. The bin will slide down, cleaning its interior. The bin base will not open if the silver lever is not fully pushed down.
  3. Minimise dust contact: Cover the bin tightly in a dustproof bag while emptying. Press the silver button to open the bin base, carefully remove the bin, seal the bag, and dispose of it.

Clearing blockages

Do not use the machine while checking for blockages to avoid injury. If a blockage is detected, the motor will pulse, and the machine will cut out until the blockage is cleared.

Clearing blockages is not covered by your guarantee.

  2. Remove the cap: Unscrew the cap on the water reservoir.

  4. Replace the cap: Securely fit the cap back onto the water reservoir.
  5. Reassemble and attach: Slide the waste extraction tray and water reservoir back into the main roller head until it clicks. Attach the main wet roller head to your vacuum's wand.

How to clean your Dyson SubmarineTM 2.0 wet roller head

Proper cleaning of the wet roller head is essential for performance.

  1. Detach and place: Turn off the machine and detach the wet roller head. Place it immediately in the drip tray to prevent spillage.
  2. Hold level: Keep the wet roller head level in the drip tray.
  3. Disassemble and empty: Hold the wet roller head over a sink, remove it from the drip tray. Press the red Quick-release button and slide out the cassette. Remove the red dirty water tank cap to empty the waste extraction tray.
  4. Wash components: Empty any leftover water from the reservoir. Do not expose the neck of the water roller head to water. All washable parts (roller, waste extraction tray, water reservoir, drip tray) can be cleaned with water and a diluted household anti-bacterial solution.
  5. Dry components: Wipe away dirt and excess water from the main roller head, waste extraction tray, and water reservoir with a cloth. Leave the wet roller to air dry in a warm, well-ventilated space.

It is recommended to replace the wet roller every six months, depending on usage, to maintain performance.

Washing your filter

Wash your filter at least once a month to maintain suction power. Ensure the filter is completely dry (at least 24 hours) before reattaching, as a damp filter can damage the machine.

Visit www.dyson.co.th/en-TH/products/vacuum-cleaners/v16-piston-animal/owners for more information and support videos.

  1. Remove filter: Twist the filter anti-clockwise and pull it away from the machine.
  2. Tap off dust: Gently tap the filter over a bin to remove loose dust and debris.
  3. Wash filter: Wash the pleated paper element under warm running tap water, with the foam element facing downwards. Then, wash the foam element, still pointing downwards. Hold the filter on its side and run warm water over the outside of the foam element, gently rubbing to remove dirt. Repeat until water runs clear.
  4. Shake and dry: Empty the filter and shake firmly to remove excess water. Keep shaking until no more water comes out. Place the filter on its end in a well-ventilated, warm place to dry for at least 24 hours.
  5. Refit filter: Once completely dry, position the filter unit in place on the main body and twist clockwise until it clicks.

Do not dry the filter in a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, or near a naked flame.

Washing your All Floor ConesTM Sense brush bars

The All Floor ConesTM Sense cleaner head has washable brush bars. Regularly check and wash them to maintain optimum performance. Ensure the machine is disconnected from the charger and turned off. Do not use dishwashers, detergents, polishes, or air fresheners.

  1. Remove cover and brush bars: Lift the plastic clips at the back of the cleaner head (left and right) to release the cover. Unscrew each brush bar to remove.
  2. Wash and dry: Hold each brush bar under running water and gently rub to remove lint or dirt. Stand the brush bars upright to dry completely for at least 24 hours.
  3. Refit brush bars: Before refitting, ensure each brush bar is completely dry. Reattach them by matching the colour of the plastic fitting to the cleaner head. Refit the cover by slotting it back into place.

Cleaning your optic lens

To maintain optimum performance, keep the lens clean. Clean the lens only when the cleaner head is not attached to the machine. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the lens.
