Charging your machine
For the best experience, fully charge your machine and any additional batteries as soon as you open the box and after every clean.
The LED light on the end of the handle will flash when the power is running low. Connect the charger directly to the charging point on the base of the handle. You can also connect to your dock (refer to installation instructions supplied with your dock).
The LED light on the end of the handle will pulse with a blue LED light when charging, and will go out when fully charged. It can take up to four hours to fully charge a battery.
Your battery has been designed to be left on charge. Your machine will not operate or charge if the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F), as this is designed to protect both the motor and battery. To help prolong battery life, allow your machine to cool down before recharging.
The charger connected from the power supply directly into the base of the handle.
Changing your click-in battery
If you have additional click-in batteries, alternate them to maintain even performance.
Removing your battery

Cleaning your bin
Do not put any part of your machine in a dishwasher or use detergents, polishes, or air fresheners.
If necessary, clean your bin after emptying it as shown in the 'Emptying your bin' section. Remove the bin by pressing the red button on the bin runner and sliding it off.
Clean your bin only with a damp cloth. Ensure the bin and seals are completely dry before replacing.
To replace your bin, insert the spine onto the bin runner. Close your bin by pushing the bin base upwards until the bin and bin base click into place.
Washing your filter
Wash your filter at least once a month to maintain the best performance. Ensure the filter is completely dry before refitting.
Removing your filter
Do not put any part of your machine in a dishwasher or use detergents, polishes, or air fresheners. Turn your filter anti-clockwise and pull it away from your machine. Before washing, tap the filter gently over a bin to remove loose dust and debris.
Washing your filter
Wash the outside of the filter, rubbing with your fingers to remove dirt. Carefully rinse the inside of the filter without allowing water to fill it. Repeat until the water runs clear.

Drying your filter
Empty the filter and shake firmly to remove excess water. Continue shaking until no more water emerges. Place the filter upright, as shown. Leave the filter to dry for at least 24 hours in a well-ventilated, warm place. Do not dry your filter in a tumble dryer, microwave, or near an open flame.
Important: The filter must be completely dry before being put back into the machine. Using a damp filter could damage your machine.

Refitting your filter
To refit your filter, slide it onto the handle and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place. Your filter may require more frequent washing if you vacuum fine dust, use Max mode frequently, or use the machine with a full bin.
Washing your brush bars
Check and wash the brush bars regularly to maintain optimum performance.
Removing brush bars
Do not put any part of your machine in a dishwasher or use detergents, polishes, or air fresheners. Press the cleaner head release button to remove the cleaner head from the wand. Pull the brush bars off the end cap and set the end cap aside; do not wash it.
The brush bar release button is on the top of the cleaner head, and the brush bars slide out from the same end.
Washing and drying brush bars
Hold the brush bars under cold tap water and gently rub to remove lint or dirt. Continue washing until the water runs clear. Stand the brush bars upright and leave them for at least 24 hours to dry.
Replacing your brush bars
Ensure brush bars are completely dry before refitting. Each brush bar is engineered for a specific position on the end cap. It is important that both brush bars are fitted correctly.
Slide the assembled brush bars back into the cleaner head. Push the end cap until it clips securely back into the closed position.
The cleaner head housing is not washable and should only be wiped with a damp, lint-free cloth.
The fittings on the end cap are on either side of a central locking point. One fitting is larger than the other, and the brush bar ends will only fit the corresponding fitting. [click-symbol]

Clearing blockages
If your machine detects a blockage, the motor will pulse six times [pulsing-motor-indicator]. You cannot use your machine until the blockage is cleared. If you attempt to use the machine while it is pulsing, it will automatically cut out.
Leave your machine to cool down before looking for blockages. For your safety, take care not to touch the power button.
Disconnect your machine from the charger before checking for blockages. Be careful not to touch the power button and be aware of sharp objects. Do not use your machine while looking for blockages, as this could cause injury.
Checking for blockages
- With the bin removed, check for blockages, paying particular attention to the air inlet located on the right-hand side of the machine, just below where the bin joins the main body.
- With the wand removed, check for blockages at both ends of the wand.
- Check for blockages in the filter end and bin ends of the machine.
- Turn the cleaner head over to check for obstructions on the brush bar and air inlet. Remove any obstructions from the brush bar.
Looking after your machine
To maintain the best performance, clean your machine regularly and check for blockages.
General care
If your machine is dusty, wipe it with a damp, lint-free cloth. Check for blockages in the cleaner head, tools, and main body of your machine. Wash your filter regularly and ensure it dries completely. Do not use detergents or polishes to clean your machine.
Battery care
To achieve the best performance and battery life, use Eco or Med mode. Your machine will not operate or charge if the ambient temperature is below 5°C (41°F), as this is designed to protect the motor and battery.
Your serial numbers
You can register your machine using the serial number found on the bottom of your machine. Serial numbers are also located on your battery and charger. Use your serial number for registration.
