Philips Promotion: Extend Your Warranty for Beauty Appliances - 2025
This document outlines the terms and conditions for the Philips promotion titled "Extend your warranty for beauty appliances - 2025" (the "Promotion"). The promotion is organized by Philips Polska Sp. z o.o. and offers an extended warranty on selected Philips beauty products.
§ 1. General Provisions
The Promotion is governed by this Regulation. Participation requires the User to read and accept these terms. By accepting, the User enters into an agreement with the Organizer, Philips Polska Sp. z o.o., located at Al. Jerozolimskie 195B, Warsaw, Poland (KRS: 0000037385, NIP: 526-02-10-95).
§ 2. The Promotion
The Promotion involves granting an additional warranty for the Promotional Product, as detailed in the warranty card attached to the product. The total warranty period for Promotional Products will be 2 years (standard Philips warranty) plus an additional period specified in Annex 1 of this Regulation, starting from the date of purchase. The additional period varies by registered device.
§ 3. Promotion Period and Location
The Promotion is valid throughout the Republic of Poland, exclusively in stores located in Poland, including online stores. The Promotion runs from January 1, 2025, 00:01, to December 31, 2025, 23:59. For online stores, the purchase date and time recorded on the store's server determine eligibility.
§ 4. Participants
Eligible participants are adult individuals residing in Poland who are consumers. Consumers are defined as individuals entering into an agreement not directly related to their economic or professional activity. The following are excluded: legal entities, organizational units without legal personality, and individuals conducting business activities where the purchase is directly related to their business or profession. Also excluded are entities with distribution or other agreements with the Organizer for the supply of promotional products.
§ 5. Promotion Rules
The Promotion applies only to products listed in Annex 1 (the "Promotional Product"). To participate, Users must purchase a new Promotional Product during the Promotion Period from designated stores that include a warranty card with Philips as the guarantor. Participants must register their purchase within 90 days of the purchase date via the "Mój Philips" club on the Philips website. Registration requires providing the purchase date, a scan or photo of the proof of purchase (not just payment confirmations), the product's model number, and the participant's name and email address. Participants may opt-in to receive marketing communications from Philips. The Organizer may request additional verification of the proof of purchase. The Organizer will send confirmation of the extended warranty via email within 30 days of successful registration. Failure to meet any conditions, providing false information, submitting a fraudulent proof of purchase, purchasing outside the promotion period, or hindering verification will result in the loss of the right to the extended warranty. This promotion cannot be combined with other Philips promotions.
§ 6. Complaints
Complaints regarding participation in the Promotion can be submitted during the Promotion and no later than 30 days after its conclusion. Submissions can be made electronically via the contact form on www.philips.pl or by phone to the Customer Service Department at 22 397 15 06 (Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00). Complaints sent by registered mail or courier should be addressed to Philips Polska Sp. z o.o., Al. Jerozolimskie 195B, Warsaw, with the annotation: "Reklamacja 'Przedłuż gwarancję na produkt do pielęgnacji dla niej - 2025'". The date of the postmark or courier dispatch determines the timeliness of the complaint. Electronic submissions are timely if sent by the specified deadline. The expiration of the complaint period does not preclude participants from pursuing claims in court. Complaints are handled by a commission appointed by the Organizer. Participants will be notified of the outcome via the same method used for submission. After exhausting the complaint procedure, participants have the right to pursue unresolved claims in a competent court.
§ 7. Personal Data
Personal data of participants will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The data controller is Philips Polska Sp. z o.o. Data processing is necessary for the conclusion and execution of the participation agreement, verification of eligibility, handling complaints, and fulfilling legal obligations. Communication with participants regarding the promotion is also covered. Philips Polska may share data with service providers assisting with the promotion and with authorities as required by law. Data will be stored until the end of the promotion, except for data related to complaints or legal claims, which may be retained until the statute of limitations expires, or data required for legal obligations. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary for participation. Data is protected by technical and organizational measures. Participants have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to data processing. They also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. Data will not be transferred to third countries or international organizations and will not be subject to automated decision-making or profiling. Philips Koninklijke N.V. is the administrator for direct marketing and club registration data, processed according to their terms and privacy policy.
§ 8. Final Provisions
This Regulation governs the Promotion. The current version is available at the Organizer's registered office and on the website www.philips.pl. For additional information, contact the Philips hotline at 22 397 15 06. Participation is conditional upon reading and accepting this Regulation. Polish law applies to all matters not covered herein. The Organizer reserves the right to change the Regulation, provided participants are notified 7 days in advance via electronic message. Changes will take effect 7 days after publication on www.philips.pl and will not infringe upon acquired rights or worsen promotion conditions. Participants may withdraw from the promotion without penalty if the Regulation is changed. The Regulation enters into force on January 1, 2025.
