WiFi Set Up Method-1

Please locate and download the "HomeEye" app from your Google Play Store/Apple Store. You can also scan the provided QR code for download. (For correct operation, please allow all tips when launching the app for the first time).

Steps:

  1. Firstly, turn on the device's WiFi. Wait about half a minute or longer, then find the WiFi signal in your phone's settings. Connect your phone to the camera's Wi-Fi name, which starts with "AYS-xxx" or "XYX-xxx".
  2. (Note: If the camera's WiFi cannot be found: 1. Make sure the device is fully charged or keep it connected to power; low battery can cause the camera's WiFi to be undetected. 2. Reset the camera.)
  3. When the camera WiFi is connected, launch the "HomeEye" app. You will see that the camera is now online. Wait a few seconds; the app will pop up a message asking, "Whether the device added by the AP is equipped with a network (AYS-xxx)". Click "Ok" to proceed to the next step.
  4. Wait a few seconds; the app "WIFI Settings" will pop up. Then, choose the home network you wish to connect to. (If the Wi-Fi list is not shown, click the "refresh" button to refresh the Wi-Fi list).
  5. A few seconds later, the setup will be successful, and you will return to the main page. You can now remotely stream live video via the app.
  6. In Android systems, the app may display "Internet unavailable". In iOS systems, the app may display "Unsecured Internet". Please ignore these messages.
  7. There is also a video tutorial on the product page showing how to set it up, which is a very easy and intuitive guide.

WiFi Set Up Method-2

Steps:

  1. Launch your app and click the "+" button on the top right.
  2. Choose "AP distribution network". Click "Go to WiFi configuration", then connect your phone to the camera's Wi-Fi name starting with "AYS-xxx" or "XYX-xxx". This is the camera's WiFi. When done, go back to the app page; you will find the camera is "Online".
  3. Wait a few seconds; the app "WIFI Settings" will pop up. Then, choose the network you want to connect to. (If the Wi-Fi list is not shown, click the "refresh" button to refresh the Wi-Fi list).
  4. A few seconds later, the setup will be successful, and you will return to the main page. You can now remotely stream live video via the app.
