Installation Guide
Before installation, test both the front and rear cameras.
Installing the Front Camera
- Insert Memory Card: Ensure you use a high-speed memory card (Class 10 or higher). Format the card via the camera's menu before use. Gently push the memory card in until it clicks.
- Mounting on Windshield:
- Clean the windshield thoroughly.
- Attach the suction cup mount to the windshield and secure it.
- Adjust the camera angle by loosening the screw, positioning it, and then tightening the screw. The camera can rotate 360 degrees.
- Connect the power cable to the car's cigarette lighter adapter.
Installing the Rear Camera
The rear camera is designed for installation on the rear windshield. It does not function as a backup camera.
- Determine the optimal position inside the rear windshield and clean the area.
- Peel off the protective film from the 3M adhesive on the rear camera.
- Firmly press the rear camera onto the cleaned area.
- Route the rear camera cable along the windshield edge, roof, and car interior.
- Connect the rear camera cable to the rear camera port on the main dashcam unit.
- Start the car's engine to power on both cameras.
Important Note: If you connect the rear camera after powering on the front camera, it may cause a black screen or short circuit. Restarting the dashcam usually resolves this.

Using Your Dashcam
Menu Navigation
Press the MENU button to enter/exit menus. Use the UP/DOWN buttons to navigate options and the OK button to select or confirm.
Playback
On Dashcam: Press MENU to enter playback mode. Use UP/DOWN buttons to select videos. Press OK to play/pause. Use UP/DOWN to switch between videos.
On PC: Insert the memory card into a card reader and connect it to your computer. Navigate to the "Record" folder. "record_0" contains front camera files, and "record_1" contains rear camera files.
On Phone (via WiFi): Connect your phone to the dashcam's WiFi. Use the dedicated app (e.g., BOBOCAM, Viidure) to view live footage, download files, take screenshots, and manage recordings.
WiFi Connection Steps
- Initialize Connection: Open the dashcam menu, navigate to WiFi settings, and enable WiFi. Scan the QR code displayed on the dashcam screen using your phone to download the companion app.
- Prepare Dashcam: Reset the dashcam to factory settings and format the memory card. Power cycle the device.
- Complete Connection: Open the dashcam menu again, ensure WiFi is active. In the app, tap "Connect Dash Cam". Your phone will likely redirect to WiFi settings; connect to the dashcam's WiFi network (e.g., CD311_XXXX with password 12345678).
App Features: Modify WiFi name/password, adjust video settings, manage recordings, and access other configurations.

- Check power connection. Reset the camera by inserting a pin into the RES hole. Ensure the memory card is functional.

- Ensure the rear camera cable is properly connected. Try using the provided charger. Check if the rear camera port (AV-IN) is correctly connected after powering on the dashcam.
- Q3: Camera stops recording automatically?
- Format the memory card. Adjust G-sensor sensitivity to a lower setting to prevent excessive file locking. Try a new, high-speed memory card (Class 10, 32-256G).

- Verify the car charger is working. Reset the dashcam to factory settings. Ensure the memory card is inserted correctly and the device is powered via the cigarette lighter adapter.
