Care and Maintenance

Shut off the main power supply before performing any maintenance. Periodically clean the fixture with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid using solvents or cleaners with abrasive agents, and do not spray liquid cleaner directly onto the bulb or wiring.

WARNING

• Installing a fixture in an electrical system without proper grounding can lead to electrical shock if wires or connections become loose.
• Wire connectors are not designed to support the weight of this fixture. Suspending the fixture by supply wires and connectors can cause it to fall, leading to personal injury or fire hazards.

CAUTION

• Do not use bulbs with a wattage exceeding the maximum stated on the fixture, as this may increase temperatures and pose a fire risk.
• Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes, ordinances, the National Electrical Code, and ANSI/NFPA 70-199. Consult a qualified electrician if you are unfamiliar with electrical wiring installation.
• Turn off electricity at the main fuse box or circuit breaker box before beginning installation.
• All fixtures must be mounted to an outlet box supported by the building structure. Do not rely on drywall alone for support, as the fixture may fall and cause injury.
• Do not connect the fixture's ground wire (green or bare) to the black (hot) or white (neutral) supply wire.
• Do not connect this fixture to an electrical system that lacks equipment grounding.

Warranty

The manufacturer warrants this lighting fixture against defects in materials and workmanship for three (3) years from the date of purchase. If the product is found to be defective within this period, present the bill of sale and the product in its original carton to the place of purchase. The manufacturer will, at its option, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price. The consumer is responsible for all installation and removal costs. This warranty does not cover defects due to misuse, accidental damage, or improper handling/installation. It specifically excludes liability for direct, incidental, or consequential damages. Some states may not allow these exclusions or limitations.

Installation Steps:

1. Turn off power: Cut off electrical power at the main fuse or circuit breaker.
2. Mounting Bracket Installation: Attach the mounting bracket (J) to the outlet box using screws (RR).
3. Ground Wire Connection: Loosen the ground screw (K) on the mounting bracket. Wrap the bare wire from the fixture around the ground screw and tighten it.
4. Wiring:
   • Connect the black ceiling plate wire to the black supply wire using a wire connector (AA).
   • Connect the white ceiling plate wire to the white supply wire using a wire connector (AA).
   • Connect the ceiling plate ground wire (bare/green) to the supply ground wire (bare/green) using a wire connector (AA).
   • If supply wire colors differ, consult a professional electrician.
5. Fixture Attachment: Attach the fixture base (A) to the mounting bracket. You may need to adjust the hex nut (M) to align the screws (L).
6. Shade Installation: Place the decorative ring (C) and then the shade (B) onto the fixture. Secure with the socket ring (F).
7. Bulb Installation: Install bulbs (E) into the sockets (G). Use 60-watt max. E26-base LED, CFL, or incandescent bulbs.
8. Restore Power: Restore power at the main fuse or circuit breaker.
