What are Bone Conduction Headphones?
Ordinary headphones convey sound through the eardrums. Bone conduction headphones convey sound by conducting vibrations directly to the auditory ossicles and cochlea through the skull.
Since they do not cover the ears, you can enjoy music from the headphones and still hear sounds from the surrounding environment. This feature reduces strain on the eardrums compared to ordinary headphones that cover the ears.
Diagram Description: The diagram illustrates the path of sound through bone conduction. Sound vibrations travel through the skull (temporal bone) to the auditory ossicle, then to the cochlea and auditory nerve, bypassing the eardrum.
About Water Resistance
