Important Information Before Use

Wearing and Removing the MP3 Player

Correct Method: Hold the ends of the headphone bone to wear and take off the MP3 player. (See Diagram 1)

Incorrect Method: Do not hold the headphone cables and pull strongly to wear or take off. (See Diagram 2)

Consequence of Incorrect Handling: The copper wires of the headphone cables can be broken, leading to no sound from the headphones. (See Diagram 3)

Note: The headphone cable is made of slim copper wires and can be broken if pulled strongly. This will result in no sound and is considered out of warranty.

Button Instruction

The MP3 player features several buttons for control:

LED Indicator: [led-indicator] (Shows charging status)

Operation

Charge

Connect the player to a PC's USB port or a USB adapter (5V/1A) using the attached Magnetic cable. Attach the cable to the player's charging tray.

Charging Indicator: The LED will flash red while charging. After full charging, the LED will turn solid blue.

Connect to PC or Mac

Plug the magnetic cable into your PC or Mac and connect it to the Tayogo W16. The W16 will appear as a flash disk on your computer. You can drag and copy music files to the device.

File Transfer Tip: Music playback order will default to numerical order, then alphabetical by song title.

MP3 Play

Press the play button to power on the W16. The default mode is MP3 playback, starting from your last played song.

Shuffle/Order/Single Play Modes

Press and hold the Volume- button to cycle through the three playback modes:

Playback Tip: To quickly skip forward or backward within the current song, press and hold the Next or Prev buttons. The playback will resume from your desired point once the button is released.

FM Play

Press and hold the Volume+ button to switch from MP3 playback to FM radio mode. The same action switches back from FM mode to MP3 mode.

Searching FM Channels

For first-time use, press and hold the Volume- button to scan for all available FM channels in your area. The W16 will automatically store the detected channels.

Wear and Take Off the Headphone

  1. Hold the ends of the headphone bone to wear and take off the device.
  2. Ensure the frame fits snugly to your head, with the earphones fitting securely in your ears and lying flat against them. They should not protrude.
  3. The device can also be worn around the neck.

Questions and Answers

  1. FM Radio Sound Too Loud

    If the FM radio volume is too high, please contact customer service at cs@tayogo.com for potential software upgrades.

  2. Charging Ease

    Yes, charging is easy. A quick charge takes only 1.5 hours, providing up to 20 hours of playback. The magnetic design simplifies charging and data transfer. Use the included cable with any 5V/1A USB adapter or computer USB port.

  3. Downloading Music/Podcasts

    Connect the Tayogo player to a computer, copy your music files, and paste them onto the Tayogo W16. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, DRM, OGG, WAV, AAC-LC, and M4A.

  4. Switching Playback Modes (Shuffle/Order)

    The default setting is Order Play. To switch between Shuffle, Order, and Single playback modes, press and hold the Volume Down button for 3 seconds, then release.

    Order Play Rules: Song titles starting with a number play from smallest to highest. Song titles starting with a letter play in alphabetical order (A to Z).

  5. Listening to FM Channels Underwater

    Yes, you can listen to FM channels underwater with the Tayogo W16. However, signal reception may be affected in indoor pools due to building signal blockage.

  6. Music Clarity During Swimming
