1. Product Profile

2. Using the Product
The DJI OM Multifunctional Module is referred to as "Multifunctional Module" throughout this manual.
2.1 Installing and Removing

- If the indicator does not turn on after installation, check alignment of marks on the gimbal and phone clamp.
- The Multifunctional Module enters sleep mode after five minutes of inactivity, turning off the indicator. Press the trigger on the gimbal to exit sleep mode.
2.2 Tracking and Shooting
The Multifunctional Module enables tracking in system and third-party camera apps without DJI Mimo.
- Supports tracking people only.
- Tracking and shooting features are disabled in DJI Mimo.
- Position the tracking camera of the Multifunctional Module and the phone camera towards the subject for selfies or other shots.

Note: Avoid blocking the rear camera when shooting in landscape mode.

To remove the Multifunctional Module: Press the release button and slide the module off.
Tracking Guidelines:
- For optimal gesture recognition, keep the subject 0.5m to 3m away from the tracking camera.
- During tracking, keep the subject 0.5m to 8m away from the tracking camera.
Tracking Operation:
- Enable Bluetooth on the phone and connect to the gimbal.
- Enable tracking: Show the [V gesture] to the camera or press the trigger. The indicator turns solid green.
- Adjust the composition as needed during tracking.
Tracking Control Methods:
- Method 1: Use the joystick.
- Method 2: Use hand gestures.

Show the [OK gesture] to the camera to pause tracking. The indicator turns solid yellow. The subject can move within the frame.

Show the [OK gesture] again to confirm composition. Tracking resumes with a solid green indicator. Press the trigger twice to restore default composition for either method.
To stop tracking: Show the [V gesture] or press the trigger again. The indicator turns solid red.
Shooting:

Use the [peace sign gesture] to start a countdown for photos or to start/stop recording, whether tracking is enabled or not. The indicator pulses yellow during the countdown.
2.3 Fill Light
Ensure the Multifunctional Module is properly installed.

Adjust brightness: Press the button once (×1) to cycle through brightness levels.

2.4 Connecting to Wireless Microphones
The Multifunctional Module can connect to two wireless microphone transmitters (referred to as "transmitters").
Supported transmitters: DJI Mic Mini.

Connection Steps:
- Connect the Multifunctional Module to the phone.
- Enable Bluetooth pairing for the Multifunctional Module (indicated by a 2s timer).
- Power on the transmitter.
- Enable Bluetooth pairing for the transmitter (indicated by a 2s timer).
- Once paired, both module and transmitter indicators turn solid green. Recording can begin.
- To prevent cable obstruction, bend the connecting cable as needed.
- For iPhone 14 and earlier models, a USB-C to Lightning cable (sold separately) is required.
Configure wireless microphone settings in DJI Mimo.
2.5 Phone Charging
Ensure the gimbal is sufficiently charged (indicator shows [Yellow] or [Green]).

Connect the Multifunctional Module to the phone (1) and the gimbal (2). Press the ON/OFF button twice (×2) to initiate charging.
2.6 Firmware Update
Ensure the Multifunctional Module is properly installed.
When updating the gimbal firmware using DJI Mimo, the module firmware updates simultaneously. Please wait for the upgrade to complete.

Camera Status Indicator
Indicator Status | Description |

Solid red | Tracking disabled or subject lost |
Solid green | Subject being tracked |
Blinks green | Subject lost temporarily |
Solid yellow | Composition being adjusted |
Blinks yellow [3s] | Countdown for photo shooting or video recording |
Wireless Microphone Status Indicator

Solid yellow | Noise cancelling enabled for the paired transmitter |
