Overview
The Trailer-CAM View (TCV) kit offers a straightforward solution for adding a reverse camera to any trailer, automatically displaying the feed on your vehicle's OEM screen. This plug-and-play system utilizes a T-Harness to connect to your OEM Chevy, Ford, or RAM truck's reverse camera harness, typically located beneath the tailgate. Once the camera and extension are mounted to the trailer, installation is complete. No cutting of the factory harness is necessary, and no complex interface or installation behind the radio screen is required. The entire system connects discreetly underneath the truck's bed. Please note that the vehicle must be equipped with an OEM reverse camera for compatibility.

*This kit is not a T-Harness. It still connects at the tailgate to an un-used 12-PIN plug. This kit will display via factory 'AUX' display (ultimate tow package only), it will not override OEM reverse camera like all other kits.
TCV Trailer Camera Installation Notes
- To locate the OEM camera harness, inspect underneath the rear bumper and follow the OE tailgate junction harness originating from the tailgate. To confirm you have the correct harness, disconnect it and verify that the reverse image is lost. Connect the provided TCV T-Harness between the connection points after disconnecting the OE harness.
- Drill a small hole on the bumper where the provided tab will be secured for the trailer camera connection standby.
- The provided Trailer Camera is powered by the new harness, utilizing the same 12V source as the OEM camera. No separate power source is needed. All necessary signals are supplied by the T-Harness to the trailer connection point.
- Identify a secure and logical position for mounting the trailer camera.
- When routing the camera extension cable, ensure it does not interfere with any moving parts on the trailer.
- Allow sufficient slack in the cable between the trailer and the truck to accommodate the full range of motion of the trailer tongue.
- For trailers longer than 10 meters (30 feet), extension cables are available in 5-meter or 10-meter lengths. Contact NAV-TV for purchase at 561-955-9770.
- Upon completion, placing the truck in reverse with a trailer connected will display the trailer-camera image on the OEM screen. When the trailer is disconnected and the truck is put in reverse, the OEM tailgate reverse camera will function normally.
