Use

Start-up

  1. Remove all packing materials and verify that all parts are present and undamaged. If this is not the case, contact the service address provided.
  2. Before using the product for the first time, deactivate the discharge protection by pressing the recessed button marked in Figure A with a stable, blunt object such as a toothpick. (Diagram A shows pressing the recessed button with a blunt object to deactivate discharge protection).
  3. Now open your work lamp as shown in Figure B. You can either attach the unfolded product to a metal surface with a magnet or to a hook with a metal bracket. You can also hold the lamp in your hand, but only by the handle and not on the same side as the LEDs. (Diagram B illustrates unfolding and attachment options).
  4. You can now use the lamp by pressing the on/off button. The first press on the button activates the LED lamp with 100% luminosity, a second press reduces it to 50% and a third press activates the front light at the top of the product. This also works when the lamp is closed. Press again to switch it off.
  5. The three LEDs above the on/off switch visualise the battery's state of charge. As soon as the luminosity decreases or goes out completely, you have two options for recharging the lamp:
    • a) Connect the USB-A connector of the supplied charging cable to a suitable power source and the USB-C connector to the corresponding socket on the product. The product can only be connected to an operating device with a SELV output and a maximum working peak output voltage (Uout) of 5 V.
    • b) Connect the USB-A connector of the supplied charging cable to a suitable power source and the USB-C connector to the corresponding socket on the rear of the charging station. Now place the lamp in the charging station.
(Diagrams show the charging cable connections and placing the lamp in the station).
  6. If the product has not been used for a long time, activate the initially deactivated discharge protection in order to counteract a deep discharge. The lamp can now be stored in a dry place when folded. Discharge protection must be deactivated again before the next use.

Cleaning

To clean the product, use a dry or damp soft cloth that does not damage the surface and without the addition of other cleaning agents.

Declaration of Conformity

This product complies with the basic requirements and other relevant regulations of the European Directive for Electromagnetic Compatibility 2014/30/EU and the RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU. The complete original declaration of conformity is available from the importer.
