IKEA PAX Wardrobe Frame Assembly Instructions
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the IKEA PAX wardrobe frame. Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before proceeding.

WARNING: Furniture tip-over can cause serious or fatal crushing injuries. This furniture MUST be secured to the wall using the provided anti-tip device(s).
Note: Wall attachment screws and plugs are NOT included. Use hardware suitable for your specific wall type. Consult a professional if unsure.

- Cam Lock Housing: 4x (10108698)
- Runner/Guide: 2x (10042526)
- Clip/Fastener: 2x (10120505)
- Left Side Connector: 1x (10042612, 10046271, 10046292)
- Right Side Connector: 2x (10042543, 10046300, 10046304)
- Allen Key: 1x (10094315)
- Screw/Bolt: 2x (100823)
- Cam Lock: 2x (10046275)
- Screw: 2x (100644)
- Screw: 2x (100402)
- Dowel/Pin: 2x (101349)
Assembly Guide
Step 1: Position Side Panels
With assistance, lift and orient the first wardrobe side panel. Position the second side panel, aligning connection points. Use temporary straps if provided.

Step 2: Connect Frame
Join the side panels using the base and top elements. Insert dowels and connectors as shown.

Step 3: Secure Connections
Insert cam lock housings (10108698) into the large holes. Insert cam locks (10046275) and turn clockwise to secure panels. You may hear a "Click!".

Step 4: Attach Base and Runners
Secure the base support. Attach runners/guides (10042526) to the inside of the frame panels.
Illustrated on page 10.
Step 5: Install Top and Back Panel Hardware
Attach the top support and hardware for the back panel. Ensure all connections are tight and the frame is square.
Illustrated on page 13.
Step 6: Attach Door Hardware
Install hinges or drawer runners onto the side panels and frame as required for doors or internal fittings.
Illustrated on pages 13, 14, 15, and 17.
Step 7: Final Frame Assembly
Complete the main frame assembly. Ensure all panels are flush and securely fastened.

Step 8: Install Anti-Tip Hardware
Attach the wall attachment brackets to the top rear of the wardrobe frame.

Step 9: Secure to Wall
CRITICAL: Position the wardrobe against the wall. Mark wall for drilling. Use appropriate wall plugs and screws (not included). Maximum screw depth: 22 mm (7/8").

Step 10: Insert Back Panel
Slide the back panel into the rear grooves. Ensure it is fully seated.

Step 11: Install Shelves/Drawers
Insert shelf pins and place shelves, or assemble and install drawers according to their specific instructions.
