Description

The model RR-35 Remote Reset Device includes a System 3 module for mounting in the System 3 enclosure and a reset switch mounted on a single gang plate. This device will reset a System 3 from a remote location. A System 3 utilizing a model RR-35 can also be reset from the local system reset switch on the CP-35.

The RR-35 reset switch is key operated and momentary. The system module requires one module space for mounting. The assembly comes complete with the necessary cables for operation of 24 VDC or 120 VDC notification appliances.

Visual Description: The product includes a compact remote reset module and a separate single-gang wall plate containing the reset switch. The module is labeled "REMOTE RESET MODULE". The switch plate is labeled "RRS FIRE SYSTEM ALARM RESET" with instructions "INVESTIGATE ALARM CAUSE BEFORE RESETTING" and "RESET SWITCH". A UL logo is present, indicating certification [UL Listed].

Wiring Diagram

Wiring Diagram Description: The diagram shows a terminal block TB1 with terminals labeled 1 through 6. A 1K2 relay is connected between terminals 4 and 5. The relay contacts are shown in a normally energized condition, rated 30 VDC, 5A resistive. Terminals 1 and 2 are connected to the "MODEL RRS REMOTE RESET STATION". This station contains a normally closed, momentary break system reset switch rated 30 VDC, 1A. The connections for the remote reset station are supervised, power limited, rated 24 VDC, 100mA max. The total connection run line resistance should not exceed 3 Ohms.

Note: Terminals 3 and 6 on TB1 are marked "DO NOT USE".
