- Close zips and fasten hooks and eyes.
- Turn items like trousers, t-shirts, and sweatshirts inside out.
- Remove weights from curtains or place them in a laundry bag.
- Remove or sew in any loose wiring in bras or shirt collar stiffeners.
Sorting Your Laundry
- Sort laundry by colour; wash whites and colours separately.
- Wash dark garments separately a few times before mixing, as they may release excess dye.
- Follow all clothing care label instructions.
- Pre-treat stains with liquid detergent or stain remover before washing.
- If using a solvent-based cleaning agent, protect plastic parts (like buttons) and rinse off before loading. Do not use solvent-based agents in the Washer Dryer.

Loading Your Laundry
- Open the door by pulling the handle.
- Loosely pack laundry into the drum, mixing large and small items for better load distribution and wash results.

Note: Do not exceed the maximum load to ensure good wash results. Refer to pages 17-19 for load capacities.
Adding Detergent
Use the correct amount of detergent for best results.
- Insufficient detergent: Laundry may not wash properly, become discoloured, stiffen, or develop fat stains. Limescale may form on heater elements.
- Excessive detergent: Excess foam may form, leading to poor wash results. The machine will use more water.
Use detergents designed for automatic Washer Dryers. Dispensing aids like balls may be used if supplied.
Tablets are suitable for full loads; they may not dissolve well in shorter cycles.
For liquid detergent, use the liquid detergent level plate in the main compartment of the detergent drawer (Figure 9). Follow detergent manufacturer's guidelines for the correct amount based on laundry dirtiness and water hardness.

- Most efficient programmes use lower temperatures and longer durations.
- Loading the machine to its indicated capacity contributes to energy and water savings.
- Programme duration, energy, and water consumption may vary based on load weight, type, extra functions, tap water, and ambient temperature.
- Use liquid detergent for low-temperature washes. Follow detergent manufacturer's recommendations for quantity.
- Higher spinning speeds result in higher noise and lower remaining moisture content.
- QR code on the energy label links to product database.
Drying Levels and Durations
Refer to the tables for selectable drying levels and durations for each programme.
