Preparation

Sorting the Laundry

  • Sort laundry by fabric type, color, degree of soiling, and allowable water temperature.
  • Always obey garment tag instructions.

Preparing Laundry for Washing

  • Laundry items with metal attachments (underwired bras, belt buckles, metal buttons) can damage the machine; remove metal pieces or wash in a laundry bag.
  • Empty pockets of coins, pens, paper clips, and turn pockets inside out.
  • Place small items like infant socks and nylon stockings in a laundry bag.
  • Wash curtains without compressing them; remove attachment items.
  • Fasten zippers, sew loose buttons, and mend rips and tears.
  • Wash only "machine washable" or "hand washable" labeled products.
  • Do not wash colors and whites together; new dark cottons release dye.
  • Treat tough stains before washing; consult a dry cleaner if unsure.
  • Use only dyes/color changers and limescale removers suitable for machine wash.
  • Wash trousers and delicate laundry turned inside out.
  • Keep Angora wool items in the freezer for a few hours before washing to reduce pilling.
  • Shake off items heavily subjected to flour, lime dust, milk powder, etc., before washing, as these can damage internal parts.

Tips for Energy Saving

  • Operate the product at the highest capacity allowed by the selected program, but do not overload.
  • Always follow detergent packaging instructions.
  • Wash slightly soiled laundry at low temperatures.
  • Use faster programs for small quantities of lightly soiled laundry.
  • Do not use prewash and high temperatures for laundry that is not heavily soiled or stained.
  • If drying in a dryer, select the highest spin speed during washing.
  • Do not use excess detergent.

Initial Use

Before first use, ensure all preparations are made. Perform the first operation using the Drum Cleaning program. If not available, follow the steps in "5.2 Cleaning the loading door and the drum".

Some water may remain from quality control processes; this is not harmful.

Correct Load Capacity

Maximum load capacity depends on laundry type, soiling, and program. The machine adjusts water automatically. Overloading reduces performance and may cause noise/vibration.

Loading the Laundry

  1. Open the loading door.
  2. Place laundry items loosely.
  3. Push the door to close until it locks. Ensure no items are caught.

The loading door locks during a program and unlocks a while after it ends. Misplacing laundry can cause noise and vibration.

Using Detergent and Softener

Read manufacturer's instructions for dosage. Use a measuring cup if available.

Detergent Drawer

The drawer has three compartments: (1) prewash, (2) main wash, (3) softener. A siphon piece is in the softener compartment.

  • Do not exceed the max level marking in the softener compartment.
  • Dilute viscous softener with water before use.

Liquid Detergents

  • If a liquid detergent cup is included, place it in compartment "2".
  • Dilute viscous liquid detergent with water before use.

Detergent, Softener and Other Cleaning Agents

  • Add before starting the program.
  • Never leave the detergent drawer open during a program.
  • Do not put detergent in the prewash compartment (1) if not using prewash.
  • Do not put liquid detergent in compartment (1) if using prewash.
  • Do not select prewash if using a detergent bag or dispensing ball; place them directly in the drum.
  • If using liquid detergent, place the liquid detergent cup in compartment "2".

Choosing the Detergent Type

  • Use different detergents for colored and white laundry.
  • Use special detergents for delicate clothes (liquid, wool shampoo).
  • Liquid detergent is recommended for dark colors and quilts.
  • Wash woolens with special wool detergents.
  • Use only detergents manufactured for washing machines. Do not use soap powder.

Adjusting Detergent Amount

  • Amount depends on laundry quantity, soiling, and water hardness.
  • Do not exceed recommended dosage to avoid excessive foam, poor rinsing, and for financial/environmental reasons.
  • Use less detergent for small loads or lightly soiled clothes.
  • Highly concentrated detergents require accurate dosing.

Using Softeners

Pour softener into the softener compartment (3).

Using Liquid Detergent Part (if applicable)

Pull the apparatus towards you to use liquid detergent; it acts as a barrier. Clean it when needed. Secure it at the top position for powder detergent.

Using Gel and Tablet Detergent

  • For fluid gel, place in compartment "2" or the liquid detergent cup before starting.
  • For non-fluid gel or capsule liquid tablets, place directly into the drum.
  • Place tablet detergents into compartment "2" or directly into the drum.

Tablet detergents may leave residues; place them between laundry near the drum's lower part in future washes. Use gel/tablet detergents without selecting the prewash function.

Using Starch

Add liquid/powder starch or fabric dye into the softener compartment. Do not use softener and starch together. Wipe the machine interior after use.

Using Bleaches

  • Select a program with prewash and add bleach at the beginning. Do not put detergent in the prewash compartment.
  • Alternatively, select a program with extra rinse and add bleach during the first rinse water intake.
  • Do not mix bleach and detergent.
  • Use a small amount (approx. 50 ml) and rinse well, as bleach can cause skin irritation. Do not pour onto clothes or use for colored clothes.
  • Use oxygen-based bleaches with lower temperature programs. They can be mixed with detergents; add detergent first, then bleach during water intake.

Using Limescale Remover

Use only limescale removers manufactured specifically for washing machines when required.
