  • Always obey instructions on garment tags.

3.2 Preparing laundry for washing

  • Laundry items with metal attachments (underwired bras, belt buckles) can damage the machine. Remove metal pieces or wash in a laundry bag or pillow case.
  • Empty pockets of coins, pens, paper clips, etc. Turn pockets inside out and brush. These objects can damage the product or cause noise.
  • Wash small items like infant's socks and nylon stockings in a laundry bag or pillow case.
  • Wash curtains without compressing them. Remove curtain attachment items.
  • Fasten zippers, sew loose buttons, and mend rips and tears.
  • Wash items labeled "machine washable" or "hand washable" only with an appropriate program.
  • Do not wash colours and whites together. New, dark coloured cottons release dye; wash them separately.
  • Treat tough stains properly before washing. Consult a dry cleaner if unsure.
  • Use only dyes/colour changers and limescale removers suitable for machine wash, following package instructions.
  • Wash trousers and delicate laundry inside out.
  • Freeze items made of Angora wool for a few hours before washing to reduce pilling.
  • Shake off materials like flour, lime dust, milk powder from laundry before washing to prevent build-up on internal parts and potential damage.

3.3 Things to be done for energy saving

  • Operate the product at the highest capacity allowed by the program, but do not overload.
  • Always follow detergent packaging instructions.
  • Wash slightly soiled laundry at low temperatures.
  • Use faster programs for small quantities of lightly soiled laundry.
  • Do not use prewash and high temperatures for laundry that is not heavily soiled or stained.
  • If drying laundry in a dryer, select the highest spin speed recommended during washing.
  • Do not use excess detergent.

3.4 Initial Use

Ensure all preparations are made as per "Important safety instructions" and "Installation". Perform an initial wash using the Drum Cleaning program, or follow the procedure in "5.2 Cleaning the loading door and the drum".

ℹ️ Some water may remain in the product from quality control processes; this is not harmful.

3.5 Correct Load Capacity

The machine automatically adjusts water based on laundry weight. Overloading reduces washing performance and may cause noise and vibration.

⚠️ WARNING: Follow the "Programme and consumption table".

3.6 Loading the laundry

  1. Open the loading door.
  2. Place laundry items loosely into the machine.
  3. Close the door until it locks. Ensure no items are caught.

ℹ️ The loading door is locked while a program is running and unlocks shortly after it ends.

⚠️ WARNING: Misplaced laundry can cause noise and vibration problems.

3.7 Using detergent and softener

When using detergent, softener, starch, fabric dye, bleach, or limescale remover, read and follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Use a measuring cup if available.

Detergent Drawer

The drawer has three compartments: (1) for prewash, (2) for main wash, (3) for softener. An optional siphon piece is in the softener compartment.

Do not exceed the maximum level marking in the softener compartment.

If softener has lost fluidity, dilute it with water before use.

Using liquid detergents

If a liquid detergent cup is included, place it in compartment nr. "2". Dilute liquid detergent if necessary.

Detergent, softener and other cleaning agents

  • Add detergent and softener before starting the wash program.
  • Never leave the detergent drawer open while the program is running.
  • Do not put detergent in the prewash compartment (nr. "1") for programs without prewash.
  • Do not put liquid detergent in compartment nr. "1" for programs with prewash.
  • If using a detergent bag or dispensing ball, place it directly among the laundry in the machine.
  • If using liquid detergent, ensure the liquid detergent cup is in compartment nr. "2".

Choosing the detergent type

  • Use different detergents for coloured and white laundry.
  • Wash delicate clothes only with special detergents (liquid detergent, wool shampoo).
  • Liquid detergent is recommended for dark coloured clothes and quilts.
  • Use special detergent for woolens.

⚠️ Use only detergents manufactured specifically for washing machines.

⚠️ Do not use soap powder.

Adjusting detergent amount

The amount depends on laundry quantity, soiling degree, and water hardness. Avoid excess detergent to prevent foam, poor rinsing, financial waste, and environmental impact. Use less detergent for smaller or lightly soiled loads.

Using softeners

Pour softener into the softener compartment of the detergent drawer.

Liquid Detergent Compartment (if applicable)

Pull out the apparatus to use as a barrier for liquid detergent. Clean as needed. Ensure the apparatus is at the top position for powder detergent.

If product does not contain a liquid detergent cup

  • Do not use liquid detergent for prewash.
  • Do not use liquid detergent with the Delayed Start function to avoid staining.

Using gel and tablet detergent

  • For fluid gel detergents, add to the main wash compartment or liquid detergent cup.
  • For non-fluid gel or capsule liquid tablets, add directly to the drum before washing.
  • Put tablet detergents into the main wash compartment (nr. "2") or directly into the drum.

ℹ️ Tablet detergents may leave residues. If this occurs, place tablets between laundry, close to the drum's lower part.

Use tablet or gel detergent without selecting the prewash function.

Using starch

  • Add liquid starch, powder starch, or fabric dye to the softener compartment.
  • Do not use softener and starch together in the same cycle.
  • Wipe the inside of the machine with a damp cloth after using starch.

Using bleaches

  • For programs with prewash, add bleach at the start of prewash; do not add detergent to the prewash compartment.
  • Alternatively, select an extra rinse program and add bleach during the first rinse water intake.
  • Do not mix bleaching agent and detergent.
  • Use approximately 50 ml of bleaching agent and rinse clothes very well, as it can cause skin irritation. Do not pour bleach directly onto clothes or use for coloured clothes.
  • When using oxygen-based bleaches, select a program that washes at a lower temperature.
  • Oxygen bleaches can be used with detergents; add detergent first to compartment 2, wait for it to flow, then add bleach to the same compartment during water intake.

Using limescale remover

Use only limescale removers specifically manufactured for washing machines.
