4. Getting Started
Charging the Gamepad

Remapping Multifunction Buttons (M1-M6)
By default, M1–M6 buttons are not assigned. Remap them using the steps below or Razer Synapse.
- Hold the function button and the multifunction bumper/paddle you wish to remap.
- Press the button to which you want to assign the function.

Using the Sensitivity Clutch Function
When a mapped button is held, the sensitivity of the selected analog stick is reduced to 50%.
Effect on Movement:

ℹ️ The sensitivity clutch function can be assigned and configured using Razer Synapse.
6. Setting up the Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC
This manual provides an overview of the Razer Synapse application and may only partially describe some device functions. Internet connection is required for installation, updates, and cloud features. Registering a Razer ID is recommended. Functions may vary based on Synapse version, connected devices, and add-ons.
Synapse
The Synapse tab opens by default on first launch. Use the following buttons for UI navigation:
- Minimize: Minimizes the application to the taskbar, running in the background.
- Maximize: Expands the window to full screen. Press again to restore original size.
- Close (×): Closes all relevant tabs and exits the application.
- Previous Tab (<): Navigates to the last visited tab.
- Next Tab (>): Navigates to the next page after pressing "Previous Tab".
- Refresh Tab (?): Reloads the current page. Use if the page is displayed incorrectly or for new content.
- Download Update (⬇️): Appears when there are application updates. Use if the page is displayed incorrectly or for new content.
- More Options (:::): Opens a pop-up window for access to "Devices", "Modules", and "Other installed applications".
- Settings (⚙️): Opens the "Settings" tab for quick parameter changes.
- Profile (?): Opens a pop-up for "Sign In", "Feedback", "Rate this app", "Add Wi-Fi device", and "Exit".
- Information (?): Displays additional information about a feature when hovering the cursor.
Information Panel
The "Information Panel" tab provides general information about Razer Synapse and access to Razer devices, modules, and online services.

Gamer Room
The Gamer Room tab displays devices with Razer Aether lighting. Manage devices supporting Gamer Room here.
Synapse Priority: Configure device lighting and its reaction to Chroma-enabled games via Chroma Connect.
Under Gamer Room Application Control: Displays devices managed remotely by the Gamer Room application.

Devices and Modules
The "Modules" tab lists installed and available modules.

Global Keyboard Shortcuts
Assign actions or Synapse functions to custom keyboard shortcuts that work across all device profiles.
ℹ️ Input is recognized only from Razer Synapse-enabled devices.

Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition 8K PC Tab
This is the main tab for your Razer gamepad. Customize device settings like button assignments, dead zones, and thumbstick sensitivity, as well as polling rate. Changes are saved locally and in the cloud.
Use the following to access profile settings:
- Profile Dropdown: Select from available profiles for quick switching.
- More (...): Opens a pop-up with current profile settings.
- Onboard Profiles: Manage profiles stored on the device's internal memory.
Customize
The "Customize" tab allows remapping gamepad buttons.

Polling Rate: Adjust data refresh rate per second. Higher rates reduce input lag.
D-pad Directions: Choose between 8-way (diagonal) or 4-way (adjacent) directions.
Multifunction Assignment: Remap buttons to:
- Default: Reverts to original setting.
- Keyboard Function: Assign keyboard key functions, including turbo mode.
- Gamepad: Assign any available gamepad function.
- Disable: Deactivates the button.
Thumbsticks Tab
Adjust dead zones and sensitivity clutch for your Razer gamepad's analog sticks.

Dead Zone
Filters minor analog stick movements. Adjust sensitivity with left/right sliders. Lower values increase responsiveness but may cause unintended inputs ("stick drift").
Circularity Mode
Measures how circular the thumbstick movement appears. Circularity mode smooths movement and optimizes digital boundaries.
Dual-Stage Dead Zone Prevention
Prevents issues where controller or game software creates overlapping dead zones, ensuring consistent responsiveness.
Calibration
The "Calibration" tab helps check thumbstick functionality and calibrate them to fix issues like stick drift.

Linked Games Tab
Add, view, and manage applications linked to your peripherals. Sort games by alphabet, launch time, or frequency.

Link an application by selecting it and choosing a profile. The device will automatically select this profile when the application launches.
Devices Tab
View peripherals and their associated applications. Add, remove, or filter applications.

To link an application, click the checkbox next to it in the search results.
Settings Tab
Configure application parameters:
Synapse:
Manage application settings.
General:
- Autostart: Configure application behavior on system startup.
- Recommendations: Display new products and features based on your devices and games.
- Device Lighting: Choose which application controls device lighting effects.
- Notifications: Enable on-screen notifications.
- Reset Tutorial Prompts: Re-enable tutorials.

7. Safety and Maintenance
Safety Precautions
- Follow recommendations for safe use.

- Avoid contact with liquids. Operate within 0°C to 40°C.
