Product Overview & Warranty

All Ciro products are designed for "easy assembly" and/or "plug and play". Ciro recommends installation by a competent mechanic using standard mechanical procedures to assure a safe and successful installation. Read and understand these instructions completely prior to starting installation.

Ciro products are designed and manufactured under very strict quality control. Ciro warrants that products sold to the original purchaser shall be free from any defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 3 (three) years from the date of purchase, and a limited lifetime warranty against LED failure. Ciro will have no obligation if the customer cannot show proof of purchase. Warranty will not be granted unless the part is properly installed, unmodified, and maintained. Installation Instructions

1. Park on a level surface and shut off the motorcycle. Ensure that the engine has time to cool before installation.
2. Cover areas of the motorcycle around the work area to protect surfaces from damage.

   NOTE: Typical right side installation is shown; left side installation would be similar.

3. Open the trunk lid and remove the existing screw shown. This screw will not be reused. (Fig. 1 illustrates the screw removal from the trunk lid hinge area).
4. Insert the mount and apply masking tape in the area shown. (Fig. 2 illustrates the mount being positioned and masking tape applied to the area).
5. Lay the plate on top of the mount. Temporarily install the included 30mm long screw into place, making sure to align the outer edge of the plate with the hinge. (Fig. 3 depicts the plate being laid on the mount and a temporary screw installed, aligning the plate with the hinge).
6. Using a center punch, mark each hole to be drilled. Remove the screw, plate, and mount before drilling the pilot hole. (Fig. 4 shows a center punch being used to mark the locations for drilling holes).
7. Add masking tape to prevent metal shavings from falling into unwanted areas. Drill a small pilot hole at both previously marked locations. Enlarge each hole to 9/32 inch. (Fig. 5 illustrates a drill being used to create pilot holes, with masking tape protecting the surrounding area).

   CAUTION: It is highly recommended to use a vacuum to remove any drill shavings.

8. Remove tape and clean the area thoroughly. Reinstall the mount, plate, and the three provided screws, and tighten securely. (Fig. 6 shows the final assembly with the mount, plate, and screws in place and tightened).
9. Install the drink holder following its provided instructions. Sold separately.
